AdBlue is $20/10L and lasts for like 10,000KM, that's not the issue.

The issue is that it's a 10 year old MB and it's gonna leak EVERYWHERE. Also all the emissions crap. Oh and it takes 10L of special diesel oil (because of course it does) so each oil change is gonna cost a LOT. And he's "Hey I want Android Auto, go put it in" and "The steering is too light, can you make it heavier?"

I think there's a way to trick MB to give us 4 years/75K KM of extra emissions equipment warranty, once that's up I'll look into the emissions delete.

My buddy in Calgary with the GT3 has had this same Merc diesel for 10 years now, I personally don’t like how it drives but he gives it absolutely zero love, it only gets driven for shit jobs and sits outside on his driveway through all the -40 winter days and hail and the thing has had absolutely zero problems. Bought it used and doesn’t want to sell it because it’s not worth anything he’s just hoping the hail takes it out one day or it dies lol

He used to give it to me whenever I came to town too I think he was hoping I’d kill it but I’m always super careful with other peoples stuff.

Our shit is so cost-cut, you can totally tell they just phoned it in. Dash materials, door materials, touch screen trash everywhere. its pathetic compared to the mk7.5 and what was totally a high point.

Luckily, it still drives about the same, except your stupid mk8.5 doesnt even have a dip stick anymore.

Saved 50 cents on the dip stick.

Put in heated rear seats, cooled seats, real TQ vectoring AWD, brakes the size of a watermeon.

I'd give up all the dips sticks of even one of those items. Do ppl just stroke their dash all day or actually drive their cars.
