You guys must be eating 4-5K calories a day plus booze.

I averaged 20k steps in Japan but the calories were so high every day it didn't matter one bit.

im sure it did actually help to offset your weight gain quite a bit lol.
without those 20k steps a day you probably would have had a few extra lbs at the end of the trip

I think "lbs" can be interpreted in several ways.

When I'm being blunt with friends, I always say until you take responsibility for what you put in your mouth you'll never see meaningful results. We all know it's true but only some of us will choose that path!

You guys must be eating 4-5K calories a day plus booze. | The extra beer + chips doesn't help. I favour extra fatty / saltier foods too.
Gain 10+ lbs over 2 weeks seems unreasonable. It's excessive for the amount of steps we got in daily. I'm way taller and would burn more calories anyways. I'm not ordering 2 entrees either.
I noticed my TDEE dropped significantly between 25-29. My last cut was around 1,800 - 2,100 calories + activity 7 days a week.

I'm sitting in there minding my business and this gay guy starts chatting me up (that gym was a gay meat market), asking me about my gym routine all that bullshit, all the while coughing away, saying he's trying to "sweat" out his cold.
I keep my answers brief but he keeps trying to continue conversation, after the 20th cough I get the fuck up and leave.
Next day I was absolutely wrecked, classic COVID symptoms. Dunno why my arse hurt so much too, though.

That gay dude might've been patient zero | - hot and steamy encounter -- check
- 2 naked dudes -- check
- mike was "absolutely wrecked" -- check
- a$$ hurting much -- check
I dunno, man... Feels like certain details of the encounter might have been intentionally left out...

i've been doing it religiously since the spring, but the weight loss has only been mostly coming off in the back half of that time.
