I know it sounds hasty, but nothing provides support like a dog. Especially a rescue puppy who can be raised to fit well into your living situation. We got Mona from wag in a pretty rough time. If it arrived in country and it's cleared customs, it's probably with the delivery partner. When I get that notification, I usually get it same day or within the next business day. All my Aliex packages come way quicker than quoted ETA.

week 2 weigh-in
not off to a good start, only down 0.8 lbs. theres was alot of sniffling on wed during my post workout sauna, against better judgment i stuck in there for 30mins and woke up feeling sick thurs.
fuck being polite! next time i hear someone sniffling im gonna ask if that mf is sick and to gtfo!

ive been trying to cut before my vacation but honestly i don't think it's working... will post results the day before i leave. i was 174 about 3 weeks ago... was hoping to be below 170 since i will prob put on 5+lbs on my trip.
been trying to have smaller dinners, no snacking, not adding bananas, PB, oat milk, etc.. to my evening shake, and more recently got my bike trainer set up, trying to ride at least 3x a week 30m-1hr

December has been a disaster so far. We have basically been having at least 2 gatherings -- family or otherwise -- every week so far, and there is a lot of food and a sweets. I don't think I am necessarily putting on weight -- my last weigh in was more than a week ago, and I was still at my normal weight. But I'm sure my A1C reading has gone up by a few decimal points as a result of all this, and there is still another 10 days to go with multiple parties / gatherings to come.
As a result of all that eating -- and in particular, all the extra sugar intake -- I've been exercising more often than usual -- both resistance exercise and cardio. We'll see how that goes.

just weighed myself this morning, 172... so i lost a little over 1lb, and i think that's pretty legit weight loss, but now im worried about gaining tons of weight in the next 2 weeks on vacay and having to go hard on my diet and cardio when i get back to shed it all again lol

I checked this morning and I'm at 171.6 which I'm pretty happy with. Looking at the original post in this thread I was at 184.1 this time last year. My job has been a lot more physical the last few months which I imagine has helped a lot.
