Bringing in Little was a huge mistake. Losing this game was the worst thing. Mariners were stretched to the limit from that marathon of a game. Lose tomorrow with Yesavage and it’s basically over. Momentum is a bitch. If Blue Jays bats go silent, it’s series over, cause pitching is not good. |
welp .. there goes any advantage of that long game in Seattle. Worst outcome possible. |
Terrible at bats from the Jays, didn't get anything going or show any kind of threat to come back in this game. Let's see what they do tomorrow. |
As for Gausman being pulled, the coaches know better than anyone what is about to happen. We've seen it time and time again over the season. There are signs when Gausman is about to have a meltdown. It's always around the 5th or 6th inning. If they had kept him in, it might have turned out to be a 6-1 lead for the Mariners. Putting Little in baffles me, though. He has let the team down so many times in situations such as this. It was a gamble. A huge gamble. Tomorrow is probably going to be the biggest game so far for the Jays. At least get one win so they can come back after the three games in Seattle. |
2025 Blue Jays I agree with Jeter. Jeter knows a lot more about baseball than me and many other people as a Hall of Fame player and multiple World Series champion. Schneider pulled the Gasman too early from game 1. Their relief pitcher Little sucks! https://youtube.com/shorts/5CPFe4Y-R...6ie7UL5Ialr7PF Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Granted as mentioned before I haven't watched baseball much the last 15 years but when did pitchers turn into a bunch of pussies with their pitch numbers? Everyone getting pulled at 60 or 70 pitches now?? Guys used to regularly hit 100 when I watched before. |
I didn't hate Gausman getting pulled, he was definitely losing it a bit that inning, but putting Little in was a mistake he regularly blows it so I don't know why they keep using him in tough situations. I'd keep Gausman in the game before going to Little. Hoping Yesavage can have the same magic as his last game they need this one. |
Not a good start .. c'mon, cannot go down 0-2 in the series. But lots of innings left, let's tighten this up. |
9-3 for the Mariners at the top of the seventh inning. The Blue Jays look cooked. They need a miracle now for a comeback win in game 2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Start thinking about the next 3 games in Seattle at this point, hopefully the Mariners choke at home too |
From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows.............. Oh well................. |
Another playoff disappointment from a Toronto team, is there a contagion in the air in that city or something? |
https://i.imgflip.com/a90dam.jpg I blame this entirely on the M's letting Humpy finally win a race: https://www.si.com/mlb/how-humpy-sal...riners-victory |

Well, I'll be damned ... the Jays have life. Looks like the Jays of the NYY series came back to life. |
Great bounce back win! Vlady with a homer. Kirk hits a homer. Players hitting RBIs. Bieber pitched a good game after the first inning. Win games 4 and 5! Scherzer pitches tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Big bounce back Let's go Jays! |
https://www.reddit.com/r/Torontobluejays/s/N23qvWRWpx As usual comments are gold. As for Scherzer, I have very little confidence in him. Butt, you never know. Swan song? Could be worse by having to deal with Bassit and his legendary meltdowns. |
I guess we're out of options with pitching, sucks that Berrios didn't pan out this year so old man Scherzer it is. Hopefully he has some magic left in the tank |
The Jays announcers Dan Schulman and Buck Martinez mentioned that Scherzer is amped up for game 4. Mad Max is very excited to be the starter for this pivotal game today. Maybe Old Man Strength can carry Max through this game? |
Maybe ... but not likely. I'm shocked at how depleted the pitching roster is for the Jays and how with that, they made it this far !!! |
Blue Jays hitting and fielding have been the biggest reasons for this year's success. Two good pitchers. That's it. Just have to keep focused and not make mental errors. Errors are the Jays' worst enemy. |
Speaking of Scherzer, he’s just plain unhinged at times. Psycho………. https://www.reddit.com/r/Torontobluejays/s/GcElICiWVc |
Another home run for Vladdy!! Go Jays go! Finish strong in game 4! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
