With travel day on Thursday, give Springer a chance to heal up. Man, this is turning out better than expected.

2025 Blue Jays

Great team effort to win game 4!

Bieber pitched well. Vlady got the offence started with a 2 run home run.

Hits from Bichette, Clement, Giminez, Varsho, and Barger in the seventh inning.

Yesavage pitches in game 5.

Let’s go!!!

Interesting strategy, I didn't quite understand this move when it happened. Looked it up, so 2nd base runner can steal signs from catcher and relay to pitcher ... like Bill Billichick without drones but legal.

MG1 10-28-2025 09:09 PM

Actually it's more like seeing the grip on the baseball by pitcher, then signalling the batter which pitch to get ready for. Pitch instructions by catcher to pitcher is all done electronically via transmitter nowadays. No finger signals. I believe up to two transmitters and four receivers are allowed by a team. Pitcher, catcher, first baseman and outfielders (usually) They put the stuff in their caps.

I can't remember which game it was, but Vladdy yelled for his pitcher to move his body over a bit, so runner on second couldn't see the pitch setup.

I've followed Dodgers all season long. Yamamoto isn't immune to meltdowns. He is human, after all. Too much wasabi...............

MLB fans taking notice of how special this team really is. Deja Vu to the time Vancouver Whitecaps beat the New York Cosmo for the NASL championship. Broadcasters: This is a team from the “Village” of Vancouver.

mikemhg 10-29-2025 01:39 PM

No matter what happens it's great to see that this series will 100% end in Toronto.

The organization must pat themselves on the back for pulling out the bank to extend Vladdy, ballsy bet that paid off massively.

MarkyMark 10-29-2025 02:21 PM

Yeah I wasn't a huge fan of Vladdys contract but he's definitely showing his worth down the stretch here. Hopefully they can pull this off cause you never know when you'll get back to another World Series (unless you're the Dodgers).

His playoff performance has been Brad Marchand against the Oilers-like but that contract still feels like a big stretch over the 14 years. Those regular season numbers need to get better to truly payoff or fans are gonna turn on Vladdy in 6-7 years.

unit 10-29-2025 03:20 PM

idk man, if they win the world series and he's the mvp, the entire contract will have paid off for the franchise

whitev70r 10-29-2025 04:16 PM

^ they say that ohtani's $700M over 10 yrs contract already paid itself off last year when they won the WS. So it's all icing on the cake from 2nd yr and on.

Not just that but the marketing. Dude is a once in 5 generations superstar, and is highly marketable, particularly with Asian fans. All my friends and family in LA have become Dodgers fans, and I have even seen Dodgers hats in Hong Kong now. There is a car I have seen a few times that has a full LA Dodgers vinyl wrap LUL

It's CRAZY how big of a deal he has become worldwide. MLB itself will benefit from him, not just the team, who have definitely gotten their money's worth, regardless of the championship last year and possible repeat. He is a true phenom

2025 Blue Jays

Dodgers falling apart in the 7th

SkinnyPupp 10-29-2025 07:31 PM

Yesavage really debuted LAST MONTH? And set a league record for strikeouts by a rookie in WS?

pastarocket 10-29-2025 07:32 PM

Full credit for Yesavage raising his game tonight.

12Ks!! A rookie who played less than 5 games in the regular season gets twelve strike outs in a World Series game!

A 22 year old pitcher who is playing lights out.

Seranthony Dominguez has been having issues. Is there anyone else they can put in? Maybe Yesavage can go a little deeper. 100 pitches already. Yikes!

He went from:

Single A (Vancouver Canadians)
High A
Double A
Triple A
ALDS
ALCS
World Series

All in a span of 6 months and he's killing it

MG1 10-29-2025 07:42 PM

I think the Vancouver Canadians games are going to be very popular come next season.

MG1 10-29-2025 08:05 PM

This World Series is what MLB needed. People calling baseball boring. Are you kidding me?

The way the Blue Jays play the game. You get to see that it's more tha just blindly swinging at some little ball. You see the base coaches and how they have a hand in every play. The game is like a chess match. The decisions and matchups by managers and coaches (pitching and hitting) knowing each player's capabilities. Not sure who said it. They (Dodgers) have great players, but we have a great team.

What a season, though. Jays weren't on anybody's radar at the start of the season. After the All Star Break, the team just went full on Jekyll and Hyde. Fuck the Rays, fuck the Orioles, fuck the Yankees............ what a feeling.

pastarocket 10-29-2025 08:14 PM

Let’s get it!!!!

One more win for the Jays!!!

Rogers Centre will be so loud on Friday night.

A Halloween nightmare for the Dodgers on Friday?

G6 is already an LA win, let's go for game 7!
