They refer to this series as David vs Goliath. One Reddit member said, "Didn't David defeat Goliath?" |

2025 Blue Jays Pitchers’ duel between Gausman and Yamamoto in game 2. Great pitching from both players. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Our pitcher got tired first Other guy looks like he might never get tired |
Might have to surrender both games Yamamoto pitches in if he's gonna be that good. Just gotta get to their other pitchers and bullpen. |
That Yamamoto guy is unbelievable. Unheard of in modern day MLB, full games, and in the post-season !!! WOW, tip of the hat to him. Good thing is Jays won 2 on the road last round in Seattle so they can win on the road. Let's take 2 in LA. |
I've been following the Dodgers as much as I've been following the Jays this season. Not surprised by this game's result, one bit. Next up, Scherzer vs Glasnow. Both pitchers can shit the bed. Bullpen on both sides are shitty. Dodgers' probably slightly shittier. Have no idea why Bieber is not in for game three. Maybe coaches and manager looking for a different matchup for games further down the road. Jays will face Yamamoto one more time, if the series goes all the way. He's human. Jays' hitters can get to him. Gotta get the pitch count high on him. Yesavage didn't perform his best in game one, but I think his next game would be better. What a series, though. |
