Someone posted a photo with the caption: "Car was broken into because I left a pair of Canucks ticket on front seat. They left me two more tickets." Old joke but made me laugh this morning lol. |
Man canucks down 5-0... I don't understand how the team got so bad... they're terrible. |
|
They were doing so well in 1st period ... but then the floodgates opened. 6 goals in the 2nd. Draisatl isn't even on the ice. |
gonna be a loooong homestand  |
Canucks at home, but yesterday at the end of the game, I can hear the cheer from the Oilers fans. lol People coming to see other teams' talent, instead of the Canucks. So, it feels like they are always on the road even though it's their own building. |
That's the reality right now. Support for this team is probably at an all-time low. I haven't watched a game in months already and it's only January. From comments I've seen, the entire team looks pretty miserable lately and it shows in the results. |
You know Aquaman is not complaining, if they are still able to get ppl to buy tickets. Even if its to see and cheer for the other team. |
Well yeah, as a business you don't care who buys. But that's only going to work when popular opposing teams show up. All the other ones attendance will be abysmal. |
Toews returns to Chicago tonight for the 1st time ... C where he won 3 Stanley Cups ... not without controversies there. But Toews seemed to be in a better head space now after taking 2 years off. https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/article/toews...ery-emotional/ Toews took the past two seasons off to focus on his health before reaching a deal with the Jets last summer. He posted one assist in his first game against the Blackhawks this season, in Winnipeg on Oct. 30. “I think it’ll be a pretty cool moment for me,” Toews said of being back in Chicago. “Again, just being able to have a moment to kind of recognize what the game of hockey does for people in Chicago and what it meant for the city … you make a lot of sacrifices in your life and you kind of put a lot of things on the back burner, but the payoff is incredible to be able to be a part of championship teams that bring such an energy and inspiration to the city. “I’m looking forward to going back there, playing that [game] and kind of reliving those moments.” |
So, we've got 4 regulation wins at home. Guess who has 5? The Rangers lol :alonehappy: |
Honestly, they could have paid any one of us to serve as the 1 yr tanking coach behind the bench. |
at $1.5M/year they could have paid all of us and then some |
We have another trade announcement! Canucks trade Sherwood to the Sharks. Canucks receive Cole Clayton, 2026 2nd round pick and 2027 2nd round pick. |
please break the news that EP40 has been traded ... |
Sad to see him go, but it needed to be done. Hope he has a great time in SJ! |
Sharks are on the upswing, Kief will make them even better. Interested to see what contract he'll sign with the Sharks. Those 2nd round picks will likely be mid-rounders. Guy gave better interview than Hughes. Clearly loved being here, the "I would never close any doors in life". Really sad to see him go. Foote with the "you never want to see that, you want to keep all the good ones" :lol |
At least Jannik Hansen is happy :lol |
BOBROVSKY!! |
The Official 2025/2026 Canucks & NHL Thread Wow Nedeljkovic can throw pretty good punches! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Garland, Kane, EP40 next? |
Canucks officially set the record for the longest losing streak in franchise history, with their 11th loss in a row. |
First time I've been excited about this team sucking in a long time. Canucks really are finally tanking and rebuilding. |
