Ive heard good things about the costco kaizen brand which is on sale right now. I purchased a few tubs but have yet to try them. For protein intake its a supplement not a meal replacement. Sorry but i cant help in the vitamin d and fish oil stuff as i am not that knowledgeable in those.

Its hard to measure how great the difference is but its a solid value protein. I posted before and its 39bucks for 2.2kg and ya just find someone with a costco card and go with them.

I currently use ON and ive tried myofusion before as well. I find that ON mixes very well and taste great while myofusion taste great but is hard to mix.

Just a quick aside guys,

If you eat something and you can't digest it, your bacteria in your intestine break it down producing methane gas making you fart like hell. That being said, kaizen has never made me fart whereas cheaper brands have. If it makes you fart like crazy probably not a good protein brand lol

I use kaizen, have been for a few years. Before kaizen I used ON, I notice no difference.

honestly if your just starting out i wouldn't use any supplements
idk, but i didn't use any for the first 3/4 months, but you do whatever

supplements shouldn't replace meals, you take them on top of your meals.

i use kaizen whey protein from costco its around $40 for 2kg which is half the price of ON and it works well for me.

Craze fucked with my head big time too (srs)

After every workout, I'd feel hella anxious, slightly depressed, have no appetite and sex drive . The sweating also got pretty bad too. I took it for about 3 weeks and said fuck it, before I finally sold it to another RS member (he didn't feel any of the side effects I had).

lol, I remember doing nofapmay and my ex came over after I was done my workout...I knew something was wrong when I didn't even want to smash or be around her.

edit - I just finished a tub of Neurocore, which didn't give me any of the side effects that Craze did

about 9 days since I started taking alpha brain. So far here are my results

-Sleep is amazing. I have never slept so well. I fall asleep easily but waking up is impossibly hard lol. Dreams are like movies (ie I'm one of the survivors in a post-apocalyptic world with an endless supply of weapons at BBY SFU).. so I guess it's kinda cool.
-Energy is still about the same, maybe a little more lethargic but that could be just because its midterms week.
-Short term memory has definitely improved. Also less "uhmmm" and "uhhhh" in my speech for sure. Helps tons when I'm trying to listen to what a professor is saying and compile it into legible notes for later at the same time.
-I consume less caffeine now (slowly weaning myself off). At my worst I was taking anywhere from 400-800mg of caffeine a day. Right now I take about ~500 and feel I have tons of energy.


Price vs performance, not sure if its justifiable to be honest. It's kinda expensive for what it does. I bought 2 tubs, and that's enough for a 2 months supply but at $70/tub its kinda pricey. Also taking 3 tablets a day (220 lbs, 5'11) .. was taking 2 tablets a day and noticed nothing. I will probably keep using this just for the sleep benefit.

I just ordered a tub right now after contemplating it for months; i've got some friends on it too. They basically gave the same review you did which is: crazy dreams, increased focus, and increased memory.

It's not cheap tho 90 pills cost me $73. Rogan always says on his podcasts that all ingredients are listed and can be easily bought in bulk. If it's beneficial I'm contemplating buying in bulk and capping it myself as opposed to paying $800+ per year.

It's not bad. Right now though I don't know if its because of my caffeine intake/lack of sleep/irregular sleeping pattern but my head feels very foggy. It's midterms and I just feel worn out and nap 1-2x everyday. When I first started taking it I was sleeping a solid 7-8 hours a night and feeling great, now I'm down to about 4-6. It works very well if you sleep well. Going to try to sleep in today (gin and tonic and 2 melatonin pills ... I want to sleep!) and see if that helps any. Dealing with a little insomnia these past few days :okay: Right now I just feel like a groggy/sleepy mess, but my marks surprisingly are still quite high in all my classes (taking 5 classes this semester).

A side note, it definitely effects your libido. I think that may just be from increased dopamine release, not sure if it really boosts natural testosterone levels.


I also ordered some piracetam so I'll see how that goes next month, its relatively inexpensive.


TL;DR

Take it, but make sure you sleep enough otherwise feeling tired is a major side effect

piracetam is good, but you have to take a lot of it. Also make sure you continue to take choline. I prefer aniracetam, it has nice anxiolytic effects. CDP is my choline of choice, you don't need to take much at all.


I wouldn't take ab for an extended period of time due to huperzine's ability to build up, and become tolerated.

you could easily build a nootropic stack as good or better than ab, but it would require a lot of pills or powder

Taste wise, ON is not that great. Mixes well though. I had french vanilla (gross imo) and extreme milk chocolate (was decent).

Just tried BSN Syntha-6 in cookies n cream and choco pb cup. Both tasted excellent. I assume their vanilla should be good as well.

Apparently "Giant Sports" Vanilla actually tastes like real vanilla, but I have yet to try that.

Interesting tidbit.. I've heard some talk about lawsuits and bla bla against Craze becuase of trace amount of amphetamines. I work in a health centre that does urine drug screens. Took 1.5 scoops this morning around 8ish, just tested myself at 1:15 PM, and test was positive enough to warrant suspension for lab testing. Did a second test just to be sure, and sure enough, positive. Going to do some testing for next few days with dosing and more tests. Just an FYI

The 'custom' idea was just to see how you could match ZMA dosage for much less money. 20/300 is enough imo. That's still 133% RDI Zn and 75% RDI Mg. If you are doing custom, I guess you could bump up the Mg. Just don't do it so much that the laxative effect kicks in!

Yes they would help you reach your goals, but i wouldnt recommend you taking those products as you are a new to working out.

Work on your form and get use to the workouts. Once you have established a solid foundation, and have a workout routine. Then I would look into getting some preworkout and CLA.

looking at the recommended dosages for BCAA's, which is roughly 15-20g for an average sized male, you'd probably get half of it from your 2-3protein scoops per day and then the rest from solid foods

I just started working out consistently 2 weeks ago. I usually go to the gym at least 5 times a week working on different body parts each time. Im very new to the supplements; so far I bought Iso-100 and have been taking those as post -workout and just today i picked up a tub of magnum serum accelerated for pre-workout. Anything else that you guys would suggest?

First thing I'd do is knock off that other stuff. For the first few weeks honestly I would just do a multi vitamin and lots of protein. I've lost track of all the people I know who go to the gym for two weeks, love it, and by the end of the third week they just stop going. So instead of wasting your money on stuff you'll just piss out, focus on proper workouts and diet. Make it past the 6 week marker until you start getting addicted to the gym.

Don't start using all the pre workout shit if you're just beginning too. Your body will become addicted to it somewhat; you'll feel underpowered and without stamina if you don't use it one day. It's a bad habit to get in to. Save your pre workout powders for when you are tired one day, or don't feel very motivated. It can be just enough to help you push through and have a great session.

I've been going 4-5 times a week for the last 6 months. I use a multi, vitamin c, fish oil blend, raspberry ketone, caffeine, green tea extract, whey isolate protein, more recently bcaa & creatine

I wouldn't recommend boost test cuz your so young, natural test doesn't even start to drop till your at least 30, you probably wont feel a thing cuz its already at its peak at age 24.

I just got off beast supertest, didnt feel much but I like it for the liver detoxification. also gives me good dose of zinc and mag.

honestly, if you are serious about losing weight (for the long term), just cut out the refined carbs. That along with exercise will give you good results without having to take "drugs".

What are the risks to taking an EC Stack

Ephedrine can increase your blood pressure significantly. If you already have prehypertension or hypertension, this will increase your risk for stroke and heart attack.
Ephedrine can lower blood potassium levels putting you at risk for heart palpitations if your potassium intake is low.
Ephedrine can enhance psychiatric issues such as depression and anxiety.
Ephedrine increases your body temperature and can put you at greater risk of heat stroke.
Ephedrine AND caffeine are vasoconstrictors. Because of this they increase risk in those who are already at risk for stroke and heart attack.

Do not use if you have been diagnosed with any of the following

high blood pressure, hypertension or prehypertension
diabetes or prediabetes
anxiety disorders, especially if you are on an SSRI, SNRI or MAOI
any cardiovascular disease, angina, coronary heart disease, coronary artery disease
