truck was most likely sold originally by Diesel Service Unit GMC out of Portland, OR, so it's been a PNW truck it's whole life.
it's a salvage title (twice) truck!
first time, I'm guessing it may have been damaged upon delivery to the dealership. it had 15 miles on the odometer a few days prior, then first owner after that.
second time, it was stolen in 1994 and another salvage title was issued.
I'm not sure if it's the same seller, but a year ago they were lying through their teeth to a couple potential buyers. It might be "clean" now (aka washed) but it's had a salvage title since 1994 if not 1992, and has already been confirmed a cab swap truck about 7 years ago when it was for sale then.
Seller is trying the get a premium price for a salvage, cab swapped, 126k mile truck.

Lots of kids who see the power and badge and don't do their research.

I was pretty involved with modding my MS3 back in the day and were on those forums a lot. As the cars dropped in price to around $10k and then under, more and more kids started picking it up because it's cheap power, but the maintenance on those things compared to a regular Mazda3 is pretty intense. It's not a HUGE amount of money in the grand scheme of things, but an extra 2q of oil, extra fuel, tires, etc all adds up.

The N54 BMW are getting to that level where ignorant kids see it and want it because omg it's 300hp.

Driven 195,000 km

Canadian spec car (one of only 59 registered in canada) full service/maintenance history with local lexus dealers. Milage is from the original owner commuting from Chilliwack to Vancouver for work. i dunno... the NA1 NSX is the never-meeting-your-hero type car...

i have driven it for a short stint (in shitty Vancouver traffic)... the whole experience was just.... underwhelming...like... I dunno....
accleration (stock exhaust is kinda meh at best...)
braking is shitty....
turn in is not even that responsive
coming out of corner... kinda hard to feel the MR layout.. not enough power to really push the back end wide or whatever...

Or maybe I drove a shitty example...I dunno....

I also drove a R32 GT-R with basic bolt-ons, it just felt... way more JDM... if you know what I mean... probably not faster than the NSX, but the intake noises, to turbo spooling, to the exhaust, finishing with blitz BOV (no i dunno what model it is, its the classic du du du du du).... just felt like an event (i been spoiled), turn in was sharp, car felt "light", corner exit was faaaaasssssssttttttttttt (at least felt way faster than NSX)

But those 2 drives were 5 years apart, and I drove the R32 first, maybe by the time I drove the NSX, I have sat in the C63/M3/chipped Golf Rs way too many times, and things in general just felt slower?

If you're comparing the sounds of a stock car to a modified one then that's apples to bananas really. I love turbo noises but an MR car with a good intake and the induction sounds right behind your head is a pretty unique experience.
