lol.. Well even though it is a shitty place, like u said before u'll be able to travel whichever distance u want without having to worry about a ferry. I just say its a shitty place cause I've lived here for like 20 out of my 22 yrs.

haha yeah...I think after a while you get sick of no matter where you live. And yeah...I can't wait to see REAL seasons (although I'm sure I"ll miss the +5 to +25 year-round weather in Vic :lol), and I can't wait to explore all these places I"ve never been to :D

Well make sure that u bring warm clothing for our winters or buy up here. Sometime it can get quite cold. this past winter I think it got as low as -20 just to warn you :\ The good thing is, we're only about 2 hrs from Kelowna (depending on how fast u drive, shorter) so u can make a day trip here now and then

Big Daddy 04-04-2005 01:44 PM

it only got to -20? That's kinda sad...

saucywoman 04-04-2005 01:46 PM

I think it may've gotten lower, but not exactly sure. I know it went to at least -20, I think it may've been closer to -30 at some points. Oh well I can't bitch too much, it did go to -65 up north where beeson, russ and my aunt live.

quit my job that i've worked at for 2 and a half years full-time today, was kinda awkward. but i have a new job which pays me more than i was making there. thanks mike for giving me an chance to be hired out with you doing landscaping, i would have followed up but i was offered a very decent job year round with higher pay, and full benefits. i appreciate it.

You can even make Calgary a weekend trip. Depending on driving conditions and how fast u go it takes 6-8 hours. I guess I will find out around April 23 if I come back from there thru rogers pass or if I take the yellowhead

SmokeyTheBandit 04-05-2005 09:10 PM

I was going to get the tranny done this weekend, but realized I have prom to go to, so its going to have to wait a few more days before I can get it worked on. Once the tranny is out, I'll know for sure. I was going to just order in a XS fork if thats the problem. If not, I just spoke to a guy parting out a RS in victoria. Said it had a tranny rebuild, new clutch, all new bearings...

But on the bright side, I'm pretty sure she's going to be on the road by the time the meet comes around in may. Even if its day insurance, the car WILL be out there for the cruise.

2.5FearFactory 04-06-2005 10:25 AM

WHOOOOO I'm going to Paris (ont)/Hamilton/Toronto/Montreal next Thursday for 10 days!!!!!!

also: 116 days 'till Kamloops....unless I move sooner haha.....

down_hill_dog 04-06-2005 01:47 PM

adam.... all the internals from the xs transmission will work. you should have no problems, and i'd love to see it on the road again.

girlcrazy_4 04-06-2005 02:39 PM

It turns out I cant order XS or geo storm parts iether. GM and isuzu have discontinued all what I need. My mech advised me to find a low km storm/xs tranny and he'll rebuilt the RS tranny out of XS parts. Looks like shit is getting pretty hard to find.

If you come across a XS tranny for around $200, let me know.

WSODgirlracer 04-06-2005 08:38 PM

is there somewhere in kelowna that sells Okanagan Suns merchandise? Oh yeah, my brothers at the camp the weekend of the 7th if anyone wanted to check it out, i obviously will be :) Last time it was at the Apple Stadium or something like that, i assume it'll be the same place.
