wow...it's raining here...that hasn't happened in like 6+ months

Victoria SiR 05-01-2008 02:00 PM

Woot... 2 more weeks till Knox in Kelowna! :D

Delerious 05-01-2008 02:17 PM

sigh this new gti is tons of fun...

so far i've fixed: gas gauge, installed new h4 headlight and harness, changed the oil, detailed the engine.. and what does it do back for me? it pops the fucking heater core.

12 hours later and very little sleep the dash was totally ripped out, the entire front end of the car's interior torn apart, heater core replaced, and put it all back together.

on top of that there are random wiring harnesses laying around everywhere and the horn doesn't work... i love used cars / cars that have had engine/engine management swaps...

/rant

I know, not appreciating. Our short break up just got a few weeks longer unless it gets like 20+ for a couple weeks now. It better be half decent this weekend, otherwise we are going to have to go get more booze, lol.

if you want a cheap ass blu ray player, and you don't mind having a pc sitting beside your tv, they have blu-ray drives now, that have a read speed that's minimum 2x faster than the ps3's drive, and they're like $170 to boot.... not only that but they're read AND write drives, so if you can find some bare blu-ray media, you can prettymuch have unlimited storage because the blu-ray discs are soooooo huge.

yea that is the cheapest option, IF your pc is equiped with a nvidia 8600GT or x3450 ati video card or better(excluding the nvidia 8800gts/gtx)

.... even if you have a dual core amd your sol without one of those cards... not enough juice to decode bluray. so if you have 1 of those cards along with a intel core2 duo cpu.. then yea.. the 170 dolla bluray drive is a drop in the bucket(i picked up a hybrid hd-dvd/bluray rom for around 240ish)

CAMPING THIS WEEKEND WOOT!!!!!!!!!!
So the supplies for 2 guys in a toy hauler for 3 days are as follows:
60oz White Rum, 40oz Spiced Rum, 40oz SourPuss (for the girls I am meeting there), Flat of Beer, 106 cans of mix, 24 6oz Burgs and related hardware, 24 Hotdogs, 1kg of Prime Rib Steaks, 3 bags of Costco size chips, 5lbs potatoes, 5 Packs of Bacon, Dozen eggs, bag of hashbrowns and bug spray. Plus clothes chanisaw chairs and gas. Ahh should be a good weekend, this is an excellent reciepe for someone to get hurt.

So we stayed 4 days and quadded ALOT in that time, but we managed to leave a couple ouzes in the 60, kill the spiced and about half the sourpuss was gone, and kill the flat of beer. Most of the burgs are still there and half the hotdogs are gone, lots of pop. couple packs of bacon gone and we didnt each much on the last day to much quadding and packing.

We went thru over 100Ls of premium in 4 days but the day we got there only used about half tank, double tanks on the 2 full days and today about a tank. I am sore and bagged and now I have to go back to work, lame!!!

With paddles on the quad it makes it a crazy wheely fiend which it already was on hard pack not so much on loose stuff but now it is almost scary ow much traction it gets.

netfreak 05-06-2008 11:11 AM

my cell somehow transferred 74 megs of data in one day despite me not doing anything... the rogers rep said they'd remove the 2 grand they were charging me but that it was "probably my fault"

yeah right. phones spontaneously transfer 74 megs while locked in your pocket.

girlcrazy_420 05-06-2008 02:28 PM

the blackberry? ^^ If that thing tried ALL day, it would NEVER transfer that much in a day. 2 grand... Yeah I'd like to see them charge that to someone.

Nope it was on my SE W810... regular phone. How in the hell they expect someone to transfer 74 megs in a day on that thing is beyond me.
