I just moved back as well, anyone up for one of those morning drives on Sundays? A whole bunch of exotics meet up and drive, talk about cars and shit, good way to meet new people here in HK.

i should be going morning drive next week...

One of my job is actually 2 blocks away from LKF and I still haven't had any time to go to one of those bars since Canada Day '06... but yea I don't see a point in going there.... rip off drinks while you get looked down upon by some people just for your nationality.... fucking sad state of affairs.... and not much point since I agree with the point another made earlier about the girls there are all hunting for white guys to go home with anyway (that plus my marital status lol)... and don't wanna go to those bars in TST that gets raided by cops every weekend.... so yea reminds me that I'm not missing much by burying myself in work!

the news was qouting some polytech engineer saying that aluminum alloys ignite and burn faster in exotic cars.... but doesn't he mean magnesium? Heard once you ignite magnesium, it's almost impossible to put out with water/chemical foam? Did you cruise with those guys or the official HKFOC? My E class is giving me crap lately, had to replace the exhaust pipe for 7k HKD which I thought was a rip off.... then the shop fucked up the alignment or the tire balancing and my steering wheel wobbles everytime I hit 80-90kph.... and one thing I learn in HK is what I care most is not about the price they charge but how much DOWN TIME it's gonna cost me.... on another note my parent's (I probably won't respond to the next person who bitches how their parents didn't buy them shit) C4S had to go to the shop twice for a faulty alarm thing, turns out when jebsen sent a tech over to our parkade, they noticed that the generator room where we park next to is interferring with the door lock remote's frequency... anyway yea that's avenue to look down if your car's having consistent alarm system problems...

i'm on kln side actually, i just came back to vancouver a few days ago and will be heading back to hk early next month. the weather here sucks so much

our Q7 is experiencing all sorts of problems too. the car is just one month old and the steering wheel button doesnt work, the wiper didnt function correctly, the trunk lid wont close, the driver seat rail is busted. and Audi cant even fix them even if we paid them. since it would take them 2 months to order parts!

oh, most koo wat chain now hangs out in like NT places yuen long, tsuen mun LOL... I've seen a few "Dai Lo" looking guys in CWB bitching the owner of some new bar that opened.

Actually I think it's a completely separate incident... at least that's what my coworkers were talking about. The brother was suffering from emotional problems and his suicide had nothing to do with him finding out his brother died in a car crash. I heard that they died at around the same time. Scary.

Currently in Hong Kong, sick, no voice.
Leaving in 2 days, but i'll be back in a week.
