anyways, HK is pretty boring if u got what u wanted already eg. shopping
Why would I be jealous?

RXTitus - Nice C4S. Atlas Grey is one of my favorite colors.

RX, I'm guessing your family-business involves manufacturing in the PRD. What type of work do you do for them?

As long as you can travel out of HK a lot, and you have $$, HK is one of the best cities to live in. Not sure why you'd consider it boring.

ed99 12-08-2005 11:34 PM

I am thinking of going to HK next yr. You have anymore teaser pics of the city?

RabidRat 12-08-2005 11:55 PM

damn... career that yields a brand new 911, $3 million appartment... and it looks like you're in your 20s. most of us only dream of finding that kind of success in life.

i'm more inspired than jealous. back to studying. =D

RX Titus 12-09-2005 01:57 AM

LOL did you get one in vancouver marco911? yes I like the Atlas grey.... nothing too flashy =p but yea it sucks to get one in HK.....
yes, we're in the garment manufacturing business based out of southern PRC.... PM me if you're interested in sourcing outerwear or pants/shorts :D
X02, studying only gets you so far, it's more important to get out there and know a few people it doesn't matter if you find them agreeable or not just think of them as potential contact points for another road to look down later on(but I don't mean the going out to party all the time-type) cause connections are very important in any field..... may sound jaded but it really is WHO you know not WHAT you know....
LOL TRDude...... HK is one of the few weird places where there's online services like that..... thanks but not my cup of tea and you never know what the hell those ppl got or who they've been with.... thinking about it gives me the creeps :p
ed99, hmmm..... I haven't really gotten a chance to take a lot but I'm sure you could find more if you google it!
ashtaron14, yea you're exactly right, and there's not really a point in getting the same car on 2 continents LOL where do you live to take that pic from? I'm still a bit clueless on HK geography.... you in Sai Kung or something?
[RSX-S] did you seriously move to Kamloops??? =p

ashtaron14 12-09-2005 08:35 AM

RX: Funny thing is that my younger brother drives an RX8... but I still can't imagine driving it daily... it's not the best car to step in and out of, sure chicks dig it, but I can't see anything out of it, and the center console is always in my way.

I used to live in Whampoa Garden, but since they filled the ocean and took away our view, we moved practically next door to Laguna Verde to get it back... haha...

I'll be going to HK on the 17th... maybe we can meet up... I wanna see 997 Carrera 4 :p

RX Titus 12-11-2005 06:10 AM

I majored in B.A psyc, I know it doesn't really have to do with my field.... other than perhaps ppl worrying I can read their minds when I do business with them :p
lol ashtron14, yea I know the 8's door sills are pretty high but I think the height is ok to get in and out of? perhaps you should adjust the seats higher? But I mean yea it'd be a problem if you're jumping from a SUV but I think you'd get used to the 8 :D
sure PM me when you're here, I'll see how things are going mid month..... still some clients arriving to confirm POs for '06 seasons so I might be a bit tied up.....

can anyone do me a favor? post some nice snow pics of vancouver for me? :p

RabidRat 12-11-2005 10:43 AM

Haha it actually hasn't snowed for a week now but next time it snows I'll go take some pics. =)

ashtaron14 12-11-2005 10:47 AM

I'll PM u when I get back... coolness

gaundmasterflex 12-11-2005 02:34 PM

hey rx titus, how much did the porsche set you back over there????I am curious because the car's there are not that expensive as people perceive?

placebo 12-11-2005 07:27 PM

According to Porsche HK website, it retails for HKD$1,580,000 for the Carrera 4S 6 spd manual.

That's equal to about CDN$235,500.

TRDude 12-11-2005 08:57 PM

^^ WOW!

Edison_Chen 12-11-2005 08:58 PM

Paying workers in the factory $0.20 / hr and having people in North America buy clothes for $69.95?

Jacka 12-12-2005 07:38 PM

well, when i went back, it taught me how great Canadian homo milk is, the milk in HK taste like sugar with water.

also, last time i went back to HK, i was still using the old airport so you can smell the stinky ocean the minute you get out of the plane. OMG, i just puke right on the exit stair because i can't stand how stinky that ocean was.

by the way, his car could be a "water - market" in which buying a brand new car at lower cost from another dealership without the warrenty.

I thought so too at first, but buy the refrigerated kind instead of the kind in the regular aisles, and it's exactly the same.
