lol.

anyway, if you're ever at IFC, try out this Shanghainese Restaurant. They have really good "siu loong baos"... forgot what the name is called though, but it's on the second (or third?) level... above where passengers can check in before they board the MTR express to the airport.

for sure visit Stanley (caution: it's hot hot hot right now).

asian_XL 06-08-2007 04:41 PM

^ I think time square and many other places have that restaurant, if it is the one I have tried.

inzomniak 06-09-2007 09:06 AM

Crystal Jade...

It's good, it's not that expensive, but damn you always have to wait at least 15-20 minutes to get a table, and it's likely you have to sit with strangers.

Have you guys sat with 2 complete strangers in a 4-person booth seat? I have... it's really weird... haha

For your info, I work my ass off in HK and I wanted people to know that what the difference is between a life in Canada and HK. I woke up at 4am last week so I can finish up and oversee some containers with my goods so ppl don't fuck up.
If you haven't noticed, I haven't posted anything lately cause I was too busy WORKING.
Right... if I'm a shallow honger then I wouldn't have volunteered at VGH or worked as a cashier at Safeway or for the federal government when I was in Canada.
I may have missed the comments since this thread is too long as you said, but when did anyone post anything to admire me?
If you're too frustrated cause you feel you're working your ass off yet you don't get what you think you deserve, then I feel sorry for you. But life's not always fair in case your up bringing haven't taught you that yet.
Ironically, by starting this thread to dispel the sterotypes of "hongers" and clear away some ignorance in the heads of people like you, I've actually stirred up insecurities in people like you.
Anyway, take it or leave it.

Oh yea, and it's people like you that gives me second thoughts on ever moving back to Canada. Do I want my kids growing up along side people with such poisonous minds?

RX Titus 06-13-2007 02:12 AM

Nothing more to say Mr. He works harder than me but he doesn't deserve it cause he's a Honger?

Just to piss you off, here's more pictures of the land of the people you hate so much for stealing your job your money or your sweet ride:
http://photos-851.ak.facebook.com/ip...18851_2395.jpg "FUKA" :D
http://photos-852.ak.facebook.com/ip...18852_2705.jpg NEVER go to a grand opening in HK. You'd get stuck in traffic for hours and then finally get turned away at the parkade cause the mall is full (sorta like Arberdeen on weekends now I hear?)

Yeap that's right, BLUE skies in HK

inzomniak 06-13-2007 07:52 AM

So you weren't able to get in huh? I've decided to hold off on it too until the mad rush is over.

HK people really like to try new things. MOS Burger just opened up near my place, and for the first 2 months the line-ups were out the door.

3 months later, there is hardly a lineup and you can get your food and go on your way in a jiffy.

Ulic Qel-Droma 06-13-2007 08:22 AM

MOS burger's burgers are too fucking small.
