Recommended Shows and Places to eat in Vegas?

Anyone have any recommendations for places to eat and shows to watch (please include approx price).

I'm going with family so keep that in mind.

Thanks!

How old are the people in your family? Do you want buffet food or high end food or cheap food?

stuff99 11-25-2006 12:58 PM

Cheap food. Well its my parents plus my brother who's 20

u can't go cheap in vegas
what you could do is get the entertainment brochures or look for coupons for lance burton. it's a master magician show so i'm sure it's great for teh family and pockets. you're looking at 30-60 bucks.

O at ballegio is a tad expensive, you're looking at approx 100 bucks. if ur family doesn't speak english / understand english, then do not go to celin dion.

There is this new magic show at aladdin and i'm sure there's the blue man group u can go to.

if you want, to go caesear palace for buffet, it's great food for buffet but you're looking at approx 25-30 bucks per person

saucywoman 11-28-2006 05:58 AM

^^ the buffett at the Rio is also suppose to be good. It's about $30 too. I never got to go myself, cause unfortunately I waited til my last day there and there was a huge lineup :(

Gumby 11-28-2006 09:55 AM

Actually, O tickets range from US$102.85 (limited view) to US$165...

You want cheap eats?

You gotta go to the Orleans buffet... especially for lunch.

http://www.a2zlasvegas.com/food/buf-list.php3

Orleans
French Market Buffet
Breakfast 7:00am - 10:00am 6.45
Lunch 11:00am - 3:00pm 6.45
Dinner 4:00pm - 10:00pm 12.95
Sun Champagne Brunch 1:00pm - 3:00pm 12.95

Monday Night Seafood $12.95
Wednesday Night All-you-can-eat Steak $10.95 includes a glass of wine.
Featuring Italian, Mongolian, Barbecue, American, Seafood, Mexican and Chinese cooking, as well as an oversized dessert bar. This all-you-can-eat, every-meal-every-day restaurant is sure to satisfy any appetite.

For $6.45 at lunch, you just simply can NOT go wrong. It has all of those stations open for lunch too, not just dinner.

Loved the Blueman Group.

Vegas isn't really cheap anymore.

eviljeenyus 12-07-2006 07:20 AM

I found this website Cheapo Vegas to be very entertaining to read and has some good insight to Vegas.

Plus it gives you a general idea of each hotel/casino and what to expect from each ... :)

http://www.vegas.com/attractions/out...eersaloon.html

I think that is a neat place to visit

muteki 03-12-2007 08:53 AM

cirus cirus is pretty bad i heard. it's loud and apparently a lot of roaches as well.

bellagio's buffet is good if you have a big appetite otherwise it's kidan pricy. if you like pastries and what not, paris would be a good bfast/lunch. XD

suprasian 05-22-2007 01:16 PM

saucywoman 05-23-2007 06:24 AM

suprasian when are you going? I'm going back Aug 4-8, was able to get flights from Kamloops :)

I would recommend checking out tripadvisor.com. Check out the forums. There's a lot in there but it's very helpful. Also just do a generic search on vegas on google and in this forum..

http://www.lasvegas.net http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com http://www/a2zlasvegas.com are some websites I can think of..

visit the bellagio fountains and the volcano (I think at Ceasers). With it being your first time I definately recommend checking out the hotels. The venetan, Ceasers Palace are a couple of nice hotels.

Where are you staying?

here's another site to check out
http://www.vegas4locals.com/

moefoe81 05-23-2007 11:11 AM

winson604 05-24-2007 05:50 AM

You must go to the gun place and unload mad clips on AC Slater cut outs and other lame people. Do not need a gun license or anything. Just go in rent whatever guns you want and unload that bad boy
