I thought I would miss a optical viewfinder, but it doesn't bother me at all. Its just a matter of getting used to what I have. This camera is made for manual focus though; big EVF with MF focus assist. |

Using NEX-5 with 16mm and the Sony fisheye adapter today downtown. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4088/...bf6f7b0322.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4089/...2386c09b23.jpg Enjoy! |
1 Attachment(s) got this in the mail yesterday. it seems a little heavy, but there's so much in it. it has a million compartments. Best part about it, I got it for FREE!! I follow Petapixel, and like a lot of cool blog sites, they have free giveaways. This one is from Think Tank Rotation 360 Backpack http://www.thinktankphoto.com/produc...ion-360--1.jpg the bottom part rotates, so it makes the camera more accessible. I don't know if I really like it, but either way, it was Free, so thanks to Think Tank and Petapixel, I now have a new backpack!! If you guys have nothing to do, I like Petapixel, they have a good balance of news articles and random picture stuff! |
oh nice you won it! congrats, i thought about entering but I'd never use a bag that big heh |
NICE! The 360 is a bit heavy, but it's an amazing bag. |
ya, I always enter those contests - you know, "post your favorite song to enter the contest", never thought I'd actually win! pretty awesome! it's cool to be able to use the fanny pack on it's own. it even has it's own little rain cover! I guess that's why the MSRP is so high.... only thing tho - the straps are loooong... guess they're meant to fit people of all sizes... hehe... |

http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4086/...24f6d59a_z.jpg Tried to do a look similar to the cross processing stuff. Kind of different from how I usually edit, but I think I missed the cross process but I liked how it turned out!! http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4038/...420093a3_z.jpg Also tried my first actual touching up. Just reading stuff online to see how it actually works. Kind of got it I think. Anyone have any good tutorials or books that I can read? Or is it more just guessing and testing what works? |
Here is MY attempt at cross processing :) http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4057/...7b42a7be_b.jpg Comments appreciated...imo the picture does not STICK out even though I want it to... Cheers, Shin |
^ Kinda reminds me of Nat (communitychannel) from Youtube. I like the edit alot. |

Just upgrade to the D90 :) I'm happy with it. Took a few shoots of my cousins pocket bike that was stored in his garage. Took a few pictures of it after he cleaned them. Comments please :) http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4129/...2140d6e8_z.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4003/...83b8e66e_z.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4059/...95984b51_z.jpg |
