Oh, shit - you went to that park with the really beautiful lakes??? What is that national park called?

skyxx 11-30-2010 11:34 PM

Jiu Zhai Gou.

The weather and people there are similar to the Tibetan Region.

Nice photos!

I was never a big fan of the zoo but still neat how you can see all of these animals here. Do they have a cage around the eagle?

N.V.M. 12-05-2010 04:03 PM

yup, caged, they have 3 of them. i went pretty much to try my 1.4x extender on medium length shots, to examine the sharpness, or loss of. i put the extender on my 70-200 when i got there and left it on for every shot.

also, i tried to keep fences and anything unnatural out of the shots.

ColinK 12-05-2010 06:18 PM

^ and? What do you think? How did the extender do?

CamryV8 Type R 12-05-2010 06:44 PM

Slightly obscure, but anywhere interesting to shoot in the North Delta area?

I don't think I've ever been there for more than 9 minutes and need a place to shoot around there.

Is it worth driving somewhere else?

Was going to hangout with someone and figured we both like cameras so we'd take out our cameras for a bit, and she's from there and doesn't drive soooo... ANYONE WHO PROVIDED ME WITH AN ANSWER WILL RECEIVE NINE THOUSAND RUBLES.

Mind sharing some tips for PP like this?

I'm pretty shitty with post and could use some advice.

I'd appreciate it a ton.

Can you be more specific? What will your subject matter be?

9000 Rubles, eh? What is that - $10CDN?

I like city stuff, but I'm honestly open for just about anything. Always willing to give something new a shot (generally no homo wsup wsup).

I have a D90, 35 1.8, 50 1.8 and an 11-16 2.8 FYI. Thanks yo.

And TBH I don't have any Rubles but I will reply to any Craigslist ad you list in the personals to make it seem like you're sexy as fawk :giggity:

definitely makes the images a bit softer.the subjects in the shot don't quite have the same "pop" as before.the first shot of the giraffe is what i expect, but that was full light and she was very still(staring me down). i will keep using it though until i get enough $$$ for a long lens.
