Might up my budget to 2000-2500 for watch. Wanting particularly Seamaster Planet Ocean!

:tears:

The Seamaster Planet Ocean is absolutely, fucking bomb.
You WILL NOT regret it.

I got a good deal on a Speedmaster a few years ago, but I've had my eye on the Sea for a while now.

FWIW, those metal bracelets sell about 750ish alone
the OEM omega leather traps go from 200-500up, and that's without the deployant clasp yet.

if you're looking for any leather strap instead, there're tons on ebay i guess

are u talkin about these straps though?

Hey where do you guys go, if you go that is, in the states for watch shopping? Any good stores around Bellis fair area or is the good stuff at Seattle outlets? I'm looking for a new watch, something that's classy and can be worn with a suit, and something that looks great with just regular clothes <$200 tips?

Fossil @ Premium Outlets.

Most watches under $200 are all the same. (Kors, Armani, Burberry, Boss, etc.) Fossil just skips the branding. Just pick something pretty you like.
Leather band is a must for suits, imo.

How come you didn't get the new hulk? Don't like the green face with green dial?

IMO the bracelet, ceramic, thicker lugs is well worth it for the difference.

Nothing wrong with having a watch you simply like the look of.
After all, it's your watch ;)

ShadowBun 08-04-2012 05:30 PM

what are some good watch boxes?

googled 'good watch boxes' and to my surprise nothing much came up

nabs 08-04-2012 07:21 PM

try "wristwatch case" or something of that effect, watch boxes is kind of vague.

http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=wristwatch%20case
there are a lot.

Can't hold a candle to the ballers itt..got this back when I was in high school. Seiko Retrograde Le Grand Sport. It's held up extremely well through all the abuse I've put it through. Not a scratch on the sapphire crystal.

One day I'll have a Speedmaster, but this is it for now.
