For me personally, I would just take the ETA or Miyota (not Seiko). The whole point of a decorated movement and display caseback on these expensive watches is that they look amazing. If you can't replicate that, why bother? As for price, I can tell you about Panerai. They range from around $250 for a simple watch that is like 90% accurate (some things will be wrong, like the numbers are too fat, or the wrong caseback is used, and of course the movements even though they try to replicate them, are wrong) to around $500 for the big Submersibles. Daytonas get up to like $1500 in which case... dude just buy a real $1500 watch lol (especially if you can't use the chrono) This is the one I have my eye on, for $260. Again it's not an 8 day twin barrel movement, so why bother right? This one has a solid caseback, so it doesn't matter https://jtime.io/media/catalog/produ...c_3574_2_8.jpg Edit: Here's a recent reply on reddit to someone asking about buying replicas in China in person. I think in-person shopping for this stuff post Covid in China is dead Quote:

Oh it looks like some reps do have Miyota movements, like this $500 Patek https://puretimewatch.io/media/catal...221216_214.jpg |
WTF these look so damn good i cant even tell the difference.... for 250 bucks id totally rock one for ha ha's |
Google "vsf rolex" or go to reddit /reptime |
Do NOT use google to shop for these; every dealer has several fake sites that rank higher in google. You will get ripped off The 4 main ones are: jtime: https://jtime.io (can filter factories so it's good to start from. Also has a HK bank account if you don't want to use CC) puretime: https://puretimewatch.io/ trustytime: https://trustytime888.io/ geektime: https://geektime.watch When you ask if they'll match prices, they will say sure, I will match prices of these guys. So they are the trusted dealers' trusted dealers. (I really don't think it's the same group running all 4 sites) Here's the VSF sub btw... Can you spot the difference? $558 USD... I can't see myself spending that much on a fake watch. $300ish would be my hard limit. https://jtime.io/media/catalog/produ...dsc_7395_9.jpg |
Holy shit balls. Well thanks for opening my eyes to the world of these reps. Now maybe I’ll buy a couple of reps and not wear my real deal Then I can just wear it more… like everyday. Although I still think crapple watch is more useful as a tool |
Yeah if you have the real thing it's pretty easy to justify LUL btw water resistance in all these should be considered basically zero, unless you bring it to someone for a proper waterproofing. |
I made one of those whacky wrist reveal videos you see on instagram... Doesn't quite have the same flashy effect when your watch is matte black with a flat sapphire crystal :fuckthatshit: Need a Swiss watch for that! I was giving the leather strap another go in warm weather, but it's a definite NO for me. On rubber right now, still gets sweaty but at least it doesn't get all gross. New NATO is coming in later today (extra thick version), I'll switch to that for summer. Just need to wash it when it gets really sweaty lol Looks like I need to clean it while I'm at it, getting a bit dirty in the corners of the lugs DansGame |

I use to sell reps back in the late 2000's which funded my first gen Panerai purchase. $60-$80 Aliexpress reps could be flipped locally for $200-$300. After reading about the game now to authenticate genuine watches i'm after, its on another level... pricing as well |

The $80 AliExpress watches are still around, although they have mostly moved to DHGate after crackdown. There are private stores there still, with fake listings that are actually watches. Hont sells Cartiers there.. not sure why bother but there you go Being able to flip them like that you must have made pretty good $ (as long as the customers knew what was up!) |
Im not a fan of iwc but for those that are… https://forum.replica-watch.info/thr...s-gen.8002553/ Careful out there if you’re buying preowned |
i know i keep saying this, BUT HOLY FUCKING SHIT BALLS. that IWC was on the list of future purchases i really wanted. god damn this rep game is insane. im seriously tempted now |

i bought a fake daytona for $400 cdn in china, its alright, but there's no chronograph. The hand is just the seconds clock haha. |
been rocking the remake chinese airforce watch haha https://i.postimg.cc/fLmGPrMd/51681898585-pic-hd.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/0NMRYN3c/61681898586-pic-hd.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/9QNHw9xD/71681898587-pic-hd.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/DzHhHGs9/81681898588-pic.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/N0zGtShP/91681898589-pic-hd.jpg |
Holy, looks almost like a Zenith El Primero. |
I have the same one but I broke mine into a million pieces. |
3 years after initially teasing it, Marathon finally released the stainless steel Navigator... This comes with an ETA high accuracy and rugged quartz movement, and is $800. 41mm diameter, ~48mm lug-to-lug, 11mm thickness, 20mm lug width. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FuPB81HaAAIYU-m.jpg Review |
I love a good quartz field watch but wouldn't pay more than $300-$400 cad for one. The movement for that marathon is $44 cad https://perrinwatchparts.com/product...watch-movement |
For a car analogy, would a rep watch be any different to putting M3 parts on your 325? For arguments sake, lets say you had an actual low-km mint M3 at home and you just didn't want to put more kms or risk an accident. |

Wearing a fake luxury watch to pretend it's real (and let's be clear - buying identical replica watches to wear out so people casually think you are wearing the real thing IS pretending even if you don't lie to people who ask you outright) is 100% the same as debadging your 318is to put an M3 badge on it. If you cannot justify wearing your real luxury watch out because of worry of theft/damage, then be honest with yourself that it's too expensive to enjoy and just keep it in the safe as an investment (lol, this is also dumb) or just sell it. Insurance is a thing, don't overthink it. -Mark |

Yeah, it's pretty much debadging a 318is to M3 tin my eyes. If you can't afford it, don't flex it. Majority of fakes are people wearing to try to capitalize the clout. |
Genuine or fake, I am not buying watches to flex lol |

A Rolex is whatever’s for me. But when my damn watch is trading for half a Vancouver apartment then I’m going to protect it. Watch clout also depends on what you do and what you drive. If I see a kid wearing an expensive watch I’m thinking either fake or bought from parents. If I see the kid rolling out of a civic with a patek something is off. In social functions like my industry where a lot of people are pulling over 300k, then yes it’s pretty normal to wear a 10-20k watch but not a 6 figure watch. Shit like that just red flags |
