Lol wtf this is fucking with my head. A Seiko Cartier Santos https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...ibextid=dXMIcH |
If that was originally a Seiko watch, I think it would have 4R35 movement (Seiko branded version), not NH35A "This is not a fake, it's an aftermarket case"... well the aftermarket case is a fake Santos case, and the aftermarket dial is a fake Seiko dial... OK the movement is real Seiko movement LUL So the question is, why make a fake Seiko that looks like a fake Santos and put a Seiko logo instead of Cartier? WutFace |
Watch spotting at the Oscars (edit: Here's another on a blog). Some nice ones here.. I know Stallone and Arnie have ditched Panerai since they didn't want to sponsor them after becoming a billion dollar company (fair enough) but someone was wearing one and it looked great on her http://people.timezone.com/jessica/2...au-Panerai.jpg Michelle Yeoh wore a Richard Mille... Connection through her husband perhaps? http://people.timezone.com/jessica/2...hard-Mille.jpg I love big watches, and I think they look especially great on women (and these aren't especially huge watches). Speaking of which, here's The Rock, proving that yeah, watches can be too small sometimes. (Tag Heuer Aquaracer) https://hodinkee.imgix.net/uploads/i...ickHero-07.jpg My fave is the Portugueser here http://people.timezone.com/jessica/2...ugueser-PC.jpg |

I honestly havent worn my regular watches for a few weeks already because how can you go back once you start answering emails on your watch like inspector gadget or play next track, or use the walkie talkie, or remote start your car through your watch every morning i go up to my box, take one look, and just end up grabbing the crapple watch off the charger because its a work day. :okay: |

That's cool! Mine should be here in the next couple days, maybe even today! Ordered some new Under Armor slides too lol I put a price watch on that Braun wall clock and got it for $40. Got the black version to put above the TV. |
Be careful you don't get too close to the urinal and get pee spatters on your watch skinny :lol |

Clock arrived last night! The auto nightlight is just what I'd hoped - bright enough to see, but not too bright to glare in my face all night. Here it is in full bright. The sweeping quartz is really cool. Curious how long the batteries will last https://i.imgur.com/Epu8oZ2.jpg Of course as soon as I order that Braun clock, they go and have a 50% off sale https://i.imgur.com/YBKYD3P.png |
New clock arrived! I'm glad I opted for a huge 12" clock, because the wall above my TV is huge. I will probably add a floating shelf below it Unboxing experience was nice for something so cheap Edit: The white hands really stand out in even really low light, I'm glad I chose this colour (though mostly it was done to match the TV) https://i.imgur.com/Ga1BOZr.jpg |
Gawd damn skinny you killing it with the clocks and watches. Kudos for fully embracing this hobby. I know a couple of Watch guys but none of them would buy clocks. Fair weather and brand whore watch enthusiasts those people are. |
Nice clock bro |

at 50% off, I am tempted to buy another one lol Maybe the smaller one for my office :considered: I am absolutely addicted.. But too broke for watches :fuckthatshit: Still happy to buy some clocks for around the house; actual watch collecting is way too expensive for the ones I like. Edit: Dammit https://i.imgur.com/u0ztRC4.png |

but its 40GBP less 50% but 20GBP shipping (10-15 days), so like $67 CAD. |

As you can see in my screenshot, I shipped to Ashford UK, so shipping was only 5 GBP. The reshipper will charge me minimum fee on such a light package, so another $21 HKD ($3 USD). Not the cheapest but still better than the 20 GBP they'd normally charge for rest of world shipping. Normally online shops local shipping is free, so I would just pay the $3. |

AC Business Class 787 Dreamliner? :accepted: |
Yeh this industry they spend money like it’s going out of style. I think for these longer duration trips a nato strap is significantly more comfortable than a normal metal bracelet |
After trying on all kinds of straps - leather, rubber, silicon, nylon 2 piece, steel (really cheap one), I much prefer NATO. Somehow they let me wear it a little loose, but still stay in place, so they're way more comfy. I also like the way the bulk balances a big watch like this. Here's some more spam for those who don't mind; a Bond style (khaki green/black) $3 strap https://i.imgur.com/oqPV9vl.jpg |
