MGS4 and i think Final Fantasy take up the entire bd-r in fact i think all the exclusives like uncharted resistance 2 etc take up the whole disc (edit: yeah uncharted 2 used a bd-25 and used up all 25gbs)

granted the cut scenes take up significant space

I'm not sure about Uncharted 2, but MGS4 wasted a ton of space with their audio when they could've used some sort of lossless audio compression. Hell, the game doesn't even run in real HD (1024 x 768)

FF was going to take up the entire Blue ray but because they needed to make it for Xbox360 as well it never was filled.

From my understand, there was another 50hours+ of game play deleted because of the XBox360 factor.

On another note, anyone planning to get COD Black Ops? I was thinking of GT5 but remembering GT5P... game just felt like a yawnfest for me.

The change was needed. Ever played against the CPU on superstar? Hoooooly hell, lightning fast passes all around the offensive zone. I just don't like the pass aiming... seems like it never goes where I want to pass it to... or maybe I just need more practice.

I actually like the hitting now. SOOO GLAD they got rid of that stupid animation where you check them and both of your characters do some dumb bumping animation. Btw, press L3 (3 times to max out, I think?) for speed burst if you haven't figured it out yet. Doesn't really look like you're moving faster but you are.

You can turn off that manual passing so its back to the original passing method in the options :). Looks like I'm going to be playing this strictly offline since I hate the new passing

not sure if its just me but I don't see the big deal with that game. I love beat em ups but not feeling that game

i haven't owned a system since i sold my PS2 years back but i'm planning on buying a PS3this week. i was looking at the different types of packages online and can anyone educate me on the playstation network membership? it says you get free membership with this bundle but don't know if it's worth getting compared to the others. can anyone chime in on this? thanks in advance

psn is free no matter which ps3 u buy..

they have optional subscription services on there so that you can buy dlc/games for a lil cheaper and get demos a lil earlier

but not a must have

yea insane mode is pretty nuts, but my friends are all levelled pretty high so it's not that crazy..playing on ur own however is pretty nuts

^Yea, playing insane alone is pretty crazy. Insane mode gets pretty hard once enemies hit you for like half your HP in one move.
