i managed to assassinate a few in the beginning. but i think the other templars knew about their comrades getting killed thats why they are more cautious later on.

its a sidequest like the flags.

counters are effective as well. and yea, i killed them pretty easily after.

i pretty much took on the whole army in acre. cuz there were so many of them walking around at the time where i saved the old priest outside.

Ya i figured that the fight gets much easier once u gradually get all your skills back

although i still barley use the knife throws


i love it during rescuing a citizen when ur fighting the thugs and u attract more guards to fight, its just sooo bad ass, and then you throw them onto a pillar or a fruit stand and it just gets knocks down..

but ya, so far i find the game pretty easy

even after the chase fight after assasinating the target its still pretty easy....

whats funny is that i rescue a citizen and they thank me and i just kill them afterwards and no one cares....

did u guys manage to pickpocket the doctor's pen yet?

Hey guys, there is this new hybrid controller out for the PS3 that you FPS guys might wanna try especially all those braggers who keep saying keyboard/mouse is better bla bla bla.. i think u guys are just full of crap cause you suck with a controller.


Anyways..
This new controller on your left hand is the 1/2 ps3 controllers and on the right side is a mouse. So you can get the best of both.

It is called the FragFX controller

they're hard to fight until you at least get your counter-kills. when you get the grab defense, they're even easier. I find the easiest thing to do is to throw them against a wall, and when they fall, hack the shit outta them. easy kill.

Lucy's pen was easy to jacked.. at some point in the game, someone will give you the access code to open the door in your room once u go in

then u go out and u will see Lucy's pen by the Animus

as for the Doctor, there will be a scene where he will walk into your room holding a mug, then short convo and he will walk out, follow him until he standing by the window facing out, then there you can take his pen

you have to wait until the next scene with them til you can access his computer...

but ya, Templars get crazy easy once u get all your counters..

i always get annoyed before because i when i try to save a citizen, ill attract a buttload of guards and sometimes the Templars and thats when i get rocked.. but now, i just love killing them, especially with the short dagger..

when can u steal? when im using desmond i couldnt use any controls except walking around..

yea the short blade is brutal lol. they should add decapitations in it.

anyways i just beaten the game.. the last 2 "levels" were epic.. a definite thumbs up for me on this game. truely a next gen experience

my suggestion for those having a hard time with the sword fights, practice ur timing with counter very well

because you will need that desperately towards the end when the game pits you with tons of enemies...

i had no problem with the last couple of fights, i just felt like a bad ass slashing off 7 soldiers all at once using the back forth swing slash trick.. soldiers cant block that much momentum...

it gets really wierd at the end though........

I noticed there isn't an assassin's creed thread. so i'll just post in here. anyone experience random freezing in the game? like the character will just stop. camera control still exists, the game recognizes that you're pressing buttons, but nothing. start button doesnt do anything either.

but my problem is more like my ps3 just freezes. it only happens one a month though.

anyone know how to manually save in assassin's creed? i'm having problems trying to do that.

u cant. u can only save when u get flags or randomly saving the civilians

btw how do u break legs and necks?

i only figured out how to do counter kills with the hidden blade. which was awesome and damn brutal!

^ the same as the sword. it's just a little harder to time it sometimes.

do the slash and swing trick

basically u try to hit someone thats closes to you, then hit strike again but focus on the guy behind you, then swing again to the guy on your right or whomever is around you.. do this without pauses on the striking..

once you get more momentum with the slashing, your enemies wont be able to counter your hit and one slash kills them...


but beware, while your starting your slash momentum, get ready for some counter because enemies can strike you while your doing this....

anyone play Uncharted: Drakes Fortune yet? I picked it up today and can't wait to play it.

Man that games looks pretty good and the graphics looked insane when i saw the commercial for it...I wanted to pick it up aswell post up how the gameplay is plus how is the difficulty :D

anyone getting frame lag issues with AC? I get the feeling that the PS3 RAM is working it's ass off everytime i play this game. It framelags the most when you oberve from a view point. Otherwise it's not a big deal.
