^^ Game was really good, but hard to control. I need more time mastering the controller

dub.g 01-07-2008 06:29 PM

I got the user created contents installed on my ps3..

you have download the files, put them on a memory card and then transfer them to your ps3, you wont find the user created contents on PSN, you have to go to UT3 forums to download them

download the files

the mod for the 3rd person view is linked up to my previous post

i tried the 3rd person view mode and its still in its early stages...

some glitches with jumping, side stepping, and you need to get used to the jumping on platforms in 3rd person view..

it imitates GoW pretty good with some exceptions

but overall, expect UT3 to get a crazy long life in gaming with these mods..

threezero 01-08-2008 03:53 AM

i'm using tversity but it does not work all the time. SOme times i would get a dlna error. sometimes my movie would just stop streaming in the middle.

hud 91gt 01-12-2008 05:09 PM

Planet Earth... an awesome series on BR

Hondaracer 01-12-2008 05:58 PM

^ anyone buying planet earth make sure you buy the BBC version and not the discover channel edition

Koflach 01-12-2008 07:59 PM

i have Planet Earth from the BBC on Blu-Ray, great show. only disapointment is that it is 720P and not 1080P.

dub.g 01-12-2008 08:09 PM

ugh FS has a promo for 2 blu rays or 2 hd dvds for $50

3:10 to Yuma was sold out....i was stuck with either picking up Harry Potter PoA and/or Training Day

but imma pick up 3:10 to Yuma and Good Luck Chuck, when and if they get their stocks back up

does anyone know how long the deal is going for?

StylinRed 01-12-2008 10:43 PM

why's that?

JordanLee 01-13-2008 01:08 AM

David Attenborough narrates it instead of this girls whos name I dont remember. Also theres like I think 10 mins removed from each episode due to commercials. So BBC edition is better.

sil-300 01-13-2008 01:46 AM

sweet ;) thanks

Hondaracer 01-13-2008 04:03 AM

As well, on hidefdigest they say the video quality is better on the BBC version

stuff99 01-13-2008 12:54 PM

the US version is narrated by Ripley from Aliens

just looked at the back of the packaging for mine (BBC version) and it states 1080p as well but when I first viewed it it said it was displaying at 720p. I'll have to check again.

jaguar604 01-14-2008 07:32 AM

^1080p on my TV aswell

dub.g 01-14-2008 08:28 AM

i read somwhere that many blu ray movies and ps3s have been having alot of misprints on their resolution compatibilities on the covers..

like all Pirates of the Carribbean have the 1080i display in the back of the cases.... which is apparently not....
