I got Uncharted today


for a console thats been out for a year, one of its killer app for this year still looks like a first gen ps3 game

dont get me wrong, its an OK game but the graphics, meh Dead Rising did a better job with the model character

however there is some parts in Uncharted where the game looks great.. it looks like the game started development on ps2, and they switch it to Ps3, the game looks unbalance in some parts with the level design...

man..PS3 needs to pick it up, hearing reviews like this is harsh discouraging, besides Bluray i have not been impressed with antyhing for the PS3 :(

If you were expecting to play great exclusive titles before mid-2008, you bought the wrong console.

Cool, my brother was able to pick one up for me for 320, because of using a bunch of promotions at superstore (employee discount, 50 dollar off coupon, no tax for customers).

It was a 40 gig one, whihc I don't mind but since i dont have some type of hdtv.

So what are some good games?

I have my friends talking about warhawk non-stop. I'm also going to pick up NHL.

Warhawk is just an obscured online game........ well that is if you compare it to other multiplayer games

its strictly stand alone online game, no single player.... its fun for a short time, u'll be playing it alot, that is if u dont have a 360 or any other games for ps3.... i paid $35 for it when it was released at BB.. it came with a free blue tooth headset so its worth.. IMO, i wouldnt pay $60 for it, even if it came with a headset...


Here are some great titles for Ps3

Rainbow Six Vegas ( that is if u dont have a 360, the online experience is great... co-op)

Heavenly Sword ( try to find a used copy... its a short game so its not worth paying a full $60 for it)

Uncharted (Yes i complaint about this game, but its still a great title for a ps3........ at least my ps3 isnt collecting dust anymore)

Assassin's Creed (not a ps3 exclusive, if u dont have a 360, get this)

COD4 ( err.. with my experience with PSN and Xbox Live, im not being biased but Live is more user friendly when it comes to inviting and playing people that are on your friends list.. so again, if u dont have a 360, get it for ps3)

Ninja Gaiden Sigma ( great game...)


Resistance (online will keep you sane for awhile...its a first gen title so dont expect anything crazy)

That is not a joke.... it really didnt have enough games to have a top ten exclusive....

I wasnt, my PS3 is mainly a media center, but i think it's a little rediculous the lack of games out, the only game i consistantly play is NHL08

because for us hardcore gamers out there, the ps2 has tons of classic games... How can you fully experience MGS4, if u cant play MGS2 and MGS3 on the same console?

despite me owning all the next gen consoles, i still play my ps2 games and im too lazy to hook up my ps2 back in my tv, thank god for ps3...... and the console upconverts the games in HD

Anyways im surprise no mention of Time Crisis 4? anyone picked this up yet? been hearing some mix reviews saying your better off picking up this game when it gets cheaper because it looks like a ps2 title.... also its retarded that the Guncon 3 is only sold and bundled with the game, so if you wanna use a second gun for 2 player experience, you have get another game with it..


And they announce Unreal Tournament 3 to be shipped in couple weeks in very limited supply........

I have HUGE framerate issues with that game! I can't stand it. the frame rate sucks and the image tears and shit.

I haven't been playing it cuz of this.

I don't think it's your PS3, ubisoft just did a shitty job on the PS3 version

The last boss is freakin hard and cheap as hell. You basically can beat him if you deflect his magic and use the speed stance. Took me like 5 tries but I did it :)

Hey, does anyone know if the PS3 has anykind of firewall protection? since it can surf the web/install linux OS and whatnot, it's possible to pick up viruses and spyware and shit..... anyone know?

time crisis 4 is so lame picked it up yesterday graphics are meh and so is gameplay only thing cool is the gun (sorta) hopefully they come out with more first person shooters wonder if you can use the gun for cod4...
