ok so I emailed Sony about my situation, and the idiot replied back ignoring my actual issue of it being TWO DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS but the same user (me) and replied with this...
I like how he salesman'd me with the Plus shit, as if there is absolutely no other way to transfer game saves, they must be tryin real hard to push for Plus sales over at Sony

sounds like a canned response. the typical Sony response, i'd probably respond back and ask him if that's the only way. if there are other ways he'd either have to let you know or say that's all that he knows of (which means he doesn't know).

can't you just sign up for PS+ for 1 month or whatever the min. is, transfer and then quit? or is that not how it works?

but yea there's no point I'm done with it, is what it is... it's just set up the way it is because they want to milk as much money as possible. Like I said, I'll just transfer my online racer cars to my new account and I'm good with that, I only play GT online anyway, I've completed everything to 100% on my other account anyway.
My gaming days were me and my boys huddled around playing N64, Golden Eye, Mario Kart, WCW..... I'm new to modern gaming basically, to me all this proprietary money milking shit is repulsive.

Yep, that's the direction everyone will be taking. Most games now come with content that you can only activate once online. Eventually the push will be eventually all digital downloads at some point.

God of War Ascension is coming and I can't wait!
I played the Metal Gear Rising demo and I'm not really feeling it. It's a completely different Metal Gear game but I'll most likely pick it up. The game comes with free DLC, which lets you to play as Gray Fox from Metal Gear Solid, so that's pretty of neat. I'm not that excited about Rising but Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is supposedly coming out late this year and I'm most definitely looking forward for that!
Other then that, I'm in the middle of fixing my broken Logitech G25, so I'll be able to play GT5 again... and make more silly youtube videos haha.

Throw in a USB stick, copy over the save file from your little brothers ps3. Transfer over the save file on your ps3. Worked for me before (might depend on game)

Edit: oh snap, I thought this is for offline use, might not work with online

^ Most save files are protected and you need PS+ to copy them.

Final Fantasy games all on sale in the psn store. Just picked up 6 7 and 8 for 5 bucks each. I already had 9. Tactics also available. Even better if you have a Vita/PSP.

I had metal gear preordered. After playing the demo, I cancelled my preorder because Im not feeling it. I have castlevania 2 and god of war per ordered. Those wil be awesome. I recentl finished dmc devil may cry, you should try that one out bro since you're a fan of hack n slashes too.

I just played the Metal gear demo, I don't really like it myself. It feels like you're just playing DmC.

Ya I heard this on the radio Friday morning I believe. Microsoft and Sony are both trying to push for this. It's fucking stupid considering how expensive games are. Most people such as myself get bored with most games within 3 months then sell them to get some money back and in turn the other person gets the game they want at a discounted price.

DmC was like playing a video game while on acid. Preferred the last one way more

I think what will be done is an "unlock" feature for a certain amount on used games.
You buy the game used, and before the start menu it'll say you need to unlock the game with an activation code for 5-10$...
Spend 30$ on used game (devs and companies make no money off used) plus 5-10$ for activation brings money back into their pockets. Essentially it'll turn a 60$ game into a 80-100$ or more game, depending on how many times it gets resold as used to different people....

I loved DMC4 but I enjoyed DMC5 way more than I expected. This new DMC just blew me out of the water. I'm pretty bummed that bayonetta 2 will be a wii u exclusive, loved the originak bayonetta :okay:

Easy workaround. Buy a game, make a new PSN/XBL account for it. When you sell the game, sell it with the PSN/XBL account you set up for that game.

And lose any trophies or achievements you just earned, making part of the game experience pointless for the next person as it's already unlocked...
