anyone picking up heavy rain? seems like it got good reviews

heavy rain is getting good reviews, tried the demo, its a decent quick time event game.

presentation and atmoshphere feels great, the game engine is amazing......

however im not forking $60 for this, its a rental at least, until the game's price goes down to $40 or becomes a greatest hits title

have it pre-ordered and will be getting the Taxidermist DLC as part of the Heavy Rain Chronicles

on the 3rd chapter... and was falling asleep... the game is quite slow paced in the beginning...

man I missed 1 coin in level 3 so I'm going back for my 3rd run to beat the game again with the coins then gonna beat gates of hell to get my platnum. I wish you could level select in this damn game! :mad:

haha, its not that bad, you can easily run thru the game in a couple of hours
and for the gates of hell, just set it to easy and you'll beat it no problem

Just picked up heavy rain at gamestop and got the DLC bonus with it. Is it just me, or whenever I pick up games in here, There is no inside art covers.. like when you open the case where the cd and manuals are at, supposedly there is some nice art printed on the inside as well (double side print). The US version all have inside art covers in it. Games like Uncharted 2, WKC, Heavy rain etc. Mine is just completely blank white. Is not a big deal, but I'm a collector. Is good to have it nonetheless, because some of the art covers inside are real nice. I find that stupid how they don't print it for Canada.

Just popped Heavy Rain in my ps3 and I have to wait 20 mins for it to dl the update...hate it when u pop a new game in and have to wait like this. Should've put the game in while the hockey game was on lol

most games do not have inner boxart...at least not in canada so no it's not just a gamestop thing

I'm really liking Heavy Rain so far. Although it is kind of slow at the start, I do find that it's well done in order to create emotion and connection to the characters. One thing that bothered me

just about hour and half into the game
pretty solid gameplay...slow paced but as expected.
character development is good...the graphics of the faces are very well done.

Finished Dragon Age: Origins

OMG, i think the game sucks ASS. graphics are horrible and the voice acting is so weak. it's nothing but reading dialogue for most of the game an there's no more enemies to fight once you kill them once (you'll be walking around an empty map).

only fun part was reading the dialogue and choosing answers to have sex with my party members (female and male...lol)...LOL!!!
