skinnypupp, thats the marked up price.
DMC4's official price is 388 for PS3 and 288 for xbox!
but i dont think u can find DMC4 in hk cheaper then 430 now. all of golden is at least 480. hell they are selling winning eleven 2008 for 580 right now  |

Smash Bros. Brawl was like $580 when it came out! And even now it's $550 at least.

i was reading the magazine the suggested price for the 360 version is $388~ $420 ain't that bad compared to what i'm used to paying here ~

new released games never come out the date its supposed to be sold
the dates actually means when the game will be shipped out of the warehouse and into the stores
most stores like FS/BB will get their games on thurs or fri on a tuesday release
EB most likely get their games a day earlier than everyone else..

2/3 of blu-ray movies are region free. but you should check before you buy. you should be ok with a canadian blu-ray on a taiwan ps3 since they are under the same region code A
blu-ray region goes in A, B, and C not quite the same as DVD region coding

joystiq has an article about DMC4's installation on the ps3 hd which clocks in at a 21 mins waiting period.......
that is insanely long but mentions that loading time will be virtually gone once installation is done.....
so prep up and watch a movie or something while u install the game..

lol be patient
i remember when MGS3 was about to come out and tuesday hit and i was driving around van for a good 1 and half stopping by at every FS i could find and calling all EB stores to see if they have the game yet...... and that was when i learn how the released/shipping works on release date games.......
ur always guaranteed to get ur game thurs afternoon if not on wed..
i would probably go through the same process when MGS4 comes out and hunt for the game on the week's release, despite knowing stores probably wont get it til later in the week  | |

I just sold my xbox360 and I'm going to jump on the ps3 bandwagon!! So I hear that the PS3's cell processor has changed and that the PS3 will be physically shrinking in size. I'm not sure I should wait until the newer PS3s come out or to just bite the bullet and buy one now. There's no games I really want at the moment so I'm not in any rush. What do you guys think??

That's what I did anyway.
As to a slim PS3, don't hold your breath. Although do keep an eye out for the 120G PS3 with Rumble rumored to be coming out in April, replacing 80G

Any word of a price drop or increase? I borrowed my bro in law's PS3 and I noticed I had to install games, unlike the 360.
