my ps3 always gets hot, I've havent turned it on since 10 last night and probably wont use it until sometime tomorrow plus I vaccumed all the vents. We'll see what happens

gotcha, my brand new Slim pumps out some pretty warm air but I realized right away that I had the rear vents too close to the wall. now it has to sit sideways on my shelf which isn't as pretty but more effective at keeping it cool.

Uncharted was sold out at 8am..i was on 10 min before..contemplating if i should just PM

I like 2k bball games way more. Live bball games just dont compare, the same way 2k hockey games dont compare to EA hockey games.

its the YLOD. When your ps3 turns off look at the light, it'll flash yellow really quickly then turn red and blink. I just turned on my ps3 yesterday and it died 2 times within 1 minute. Its due to overheating and the thermal paste. I'm pretty forunate to have had my ps3 for 3 years, most people experience this a little bit before or just after 1 year. I was reading up on this and it was funny that Sony had no clue how to fix this until recently. Gonna have a guy on craigslist repair mine :thumbsup:

^ do it yourself. it's really easy. some YLOD's have also been fixed by simply re-seating the HDD, so definitely try that first.

i tried the live demo. didn't really like it. it felt like the same old NBA LIVE. yea it might be improved, but 2k10 will probably still be better overall. my buddy picked it up and said 2k10 was good so i think i'll go with 2k10. but hey to each their own :D
