is anyone else having trouble redeeming prepaid microsoft points?

im on my third card already and still giving me invalid codes.

nope....bought it from futuresohp. first one i tried, didnt work, then exchanged it at the same location and still didnt work. then went to a different location and exact same thing. went back to the original location and got a refund cause luckly, the manager had the same issue with a subscription to live.

Big news for the 360: XBOX 1 games will be downloadable on XBLA with the new firmware. Also, original XBLA members will get 500 free points to spend on a game :)

i loved Jade Empire and KOTOR and apparently, those games are somewhat different from ME

the graphics looks crazy though........

i hate november and dec.... they released the best and anticipated games just as when midterms and finals are coming up.. fuack!

why cant they released more hyped games in the summer like the movie industry does.......? well i guess its for holiday shopping..

Hell yeah I'm looking forward to it! Anyone who likes RPG and/or Sci-Fi should be looking forward to it as well.

the dialogue response selection comes off more natural.. it still has awkward pauses but much better sounding than KOTOR conversations..................

and imagine what KOTOR can look like for 360.. or ps3 for that matter now that Bioware is an EA aquisition....

you'll need a VGA adapter. heres a cheap one thats being sold on RS http://www.revscene.net/forums/showt...&highlight=vga

as for sound it should have a red/white connector thing where you might need another adapater for that to plug into your computer or whatever speakers

Mass Effect looks pretty good. Is it an open world type of game where theres a city and areas around the city where you can go back and forth?

I haven't played an RPG in so long other than WoW, last one I actually played was FFX, bought oblivion last week but haven't gotten a chance to play it.

So many damn games that came out this month! I haven't even beaten one yet. It's also draining whats left of my bank account.

Mass Effect is open ended like KOTOR, which if u havent played yet, u get the freedom to take the direction your character wants

well not necessary to be good or evil, but it will let u choose a decision ur character wants to go like make an alliance with someone or pursue which planet to go..

its not like GTA or Final Fantasy series, its a genre to its own.. but if ur a huge sci fi fan, no matter what kind it is, Mass Effect will appeal to u

just read the reviews, its kinda hard to explain what kind of RPG this is exactly

the voice was just asking if it was worth doing every single investigation for Assassins Creed, my mic might have been on the mute thing.

no not necessarily, but if u wanted to do it for achievements

i just find it impossible to find all the hidden flags and the templars through out the 3 cities and kingdom without a guide

generally if you wanted AC to be longer than the expected 15 hour shift and get the better bang for your buck, then you can try getting everything

but so far from what iv looked up, it doesnt affect the ending of the game however if you look up at all the memory lock, there is a secret memory that maybe unlock if you do certain things.. the game just came out so not much info on gamefaqs.com or other guide stuff..

i find myself taking an extra hour just trying to get all the view points and saving the citizens, but i do minimal investigation, enough to get the assassin target.

i did hear about the game engine's frame rate taking a toll on 360 but according to IGN or Gamespot, it isnt that bad...

and he did criticized the dialogue convos...... hahai cant wait til i play the game and see if they over did it..

I played the xbox 360 on the samsung syncmaster 930B 19" lcd monitor, and the graphics were great, pretty much like playing on a lcd tv.





damnit.. i got a hacked 360 half a year ago and enjoyed it a little (with the isos and everything) until i got banned from XBLA.. now seeing all the new games makes me want to buy one again =(

Anybody play Rockband yet for the XBOX? How is it and how different is it from playing Guitar Heroes? I hear that the guitar now has both upper and lower frets on the guitar.

I highly recommend everybody play Mass Effect. The game plays like a movie and everything about the game is so well done. Definitely the GOTY

I suck at getting achievement points. My library consists of about 12 games and I only have 1375GP. All my friends that have 360s only have 1-2 games and have more than me! WTF lol.

i have 6500+ achievement points and that is stemming back to dec '05...


i have never completed a full achievement on games and the only games i have gotten 500pts+ is Halo 3, Fight Night Round 3 Battlefield 2... and i share Xbox Live account with my bro..


but holyshit.. when u play online and u see some people with like 50000+ achievement points, either they completed all the 50 games they bought or they played, tons and tons of games..

but right now, my time is being divided from COD 4 and Mass Effect


and i gotta say, Mass Effect is definitely GOTY, much more credible than Bioshock.. ME is just amazing for sci fi game.. its soo depth with story and detail...

and i just started using different guns to get the extra points and the extra accessories

although i wont be touching the sniper rifles in this game, i cant snipe for shit.. im better at gunning someone down


if u want to level up quick, go play Search and Destroy, each kill is like 50pts each and if u defuse or planted a bomb its 100pts..

i hate to sound cocky but iv gotten so much better at this game now :p haha

but Mass Effect is just consuming too much of my life.... bad idea of buying the game now, weeks after COD4 and AC.. ugh

Mass Effect just looks AMAZING. Really can't wait to play it haha.

Search and destroy reminds me of CS and seems to be a lot more fun.
