I've seen a more canon's @ this years Olympics compared to Beijing 2008. A lot more white lenses on TV.

But i'm talking about doing 300 pics at once etc.

Picasa 3.5+ can auto-tag your photos during export/upload with text of your choice - simple but effective. IrfanView has the ability to add text with your choice of fonts and sizes, in a batch process - it's quick and effective but a little work to set up.

There's also some apps out there that are designed SPECIFICALLY for doing batch watermarking, and will let you overlay photos, 3D/shadow/angled text, etc. Check one called Visual Watermark.

And of course, Photochop will do it for you, if you can ever figure it out... the above are much easier.

Hey! That's Lisa Betthany, a Vancouver photographer/model. To the left of her, there is a large shelf that holds 200 copies of the new 70-200 f2.8 L IS, and another shelf that has about a dozen 800mm f5.6 lenses. I thought pictures of that room at the media centre cannot be shown...

Soundy 02-16-2010 10:04 PM

Forget the lenses... need more pics of the girl!

Edit: whoa... http://mostlylisa.com/

Love it while you can....Canon Canada is re-vamping its requirements for membership, so every CPS member must re-apply, and many will not be accepted back.

Good call Senna! I don't know her, but she's quite the photographer from what i've seen on her flickr! That's quite the room of equipment! A million plus dollars worth of awesome! Senna have you been in Canon CPS room at the Media Center?

Never mind...they pulled the firmware update due to some audio problems.

skyxx 03-19-2010 05:50 PM

Going through some video footage I shot at night during the Olympics. Nothing fancy just thought I'd share my Olympic moment. Here's two screen grabs. :)

Does anyone have any information or inside knowledge if there are any photo places hiring? I'm thinking Beau, Leos, Kerrisdale, Broadway, Blacks, etc...

TIA. :)

Senna4ever 03-28-2010 03:45 PM

Nothing at Beau, but Broadway seems to be always hiring.

niforpix 03-28-2010 11:08 PM

Holy shit is it ever crazy windy and rainy in Kerrisdale right now

That nugget wouldn't inspire me to want to work there... must be shitty work conditions if the turnover is that high.

I think so too. In other news, Beau has a very low turn over rate. :)

ColinK 03-31-2010 07:21 AM
