Virunga (documentary) - 7.5/10 Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb - 8/10 - Robin Williams....... :QQ: |
Star wars force awakens, Im on the fence for this, i liked it but not as much as i had hoped. As a movie made to reboot/set up the saga again i woulf give it a 8/10. Well made. But personally as a star wars movie on its own, i would give it a 6.5/10. Just didnt have the wow factor or anything new really. Lots of nostalgia which was great. But my gf never saw star wars so it was a bit difficult for her to follow because if you go into the movie without knowing the other ones then theres a lot of unexplained questions with no answers |
^ why would anyone even bother watching episode 7 without watching the previous 6? thats your gf's fault, not the movie's. |
Trainwreck 8/10 |
Watching the 7th movie in a series that you've never seen before :fulloffuck: |
holy shit, hateful eight was a 0/10 probably one of the worst movies i've seen in a while |

The Revenant: 9/10 Creed: 7/10 |
ExMachina - 9/10 - great cerebral thriller |
Legend 5.5-6/10 Tom Hardy did great, but the story was a bit all over the place, and seemed like the writers didn't know where or how to take it to the ending... which is weird since it's about 2 real life london gangsters (Kray twins), also the story wasn't as interesting as what really happened, which is also odd -_- Legend: Tom Hardy's double take dilutes the story of the Kray twins | Film | The Guardian |

I honestly watch Tarantino movies (and movies in general) with neutral to no expectations, so I don't get disappointed But I really thought Hateful Eight was pretty good and enjoyable. I don't see how it could be bad to get 0/10 The worst movies I've seen is Hollowman and Superbad, and those IMO are 1/10 |
Superbad is a solid 9/10 if you ask me. |
Straight Outta Compton 9/10 - Nostalgia points are off the charts. I felt they missed a bunch of stuff and it felt rushed but in order to capture the whole story the movie would have been 5+ hours long. All in all it was a great movie even for someone not knowing the story. Spoiler! |
hatefull 8. 5.9/10 maybe tarantino became predictable, and i was expecting more tarantino from it. there really werent any 'moments' in it. |
hateful 8 - 7.5/10 first half was kinda boring but the last half made up for it the revenent - 8/10 - dat bear scene doe |
Revenant 8/10 Had my full attention for 2.5 hours, what a great movie. As usual I have to bring up the things that took me out of the movie's world, and as usual it's cartoonish CGI effects. The bear wasn't bad during the up close scenes, but the elk were really lame, and the buffalo were downright silly looking. They looked like they were running at a different speed than they were actually moving across the screen. Also the CGI blood, as always, is bad. Will movies ever get this right? Aside from that, it was captivating. I really love the faux 'one shot' action scenes. I think Tom Hardy will win an oscar for best supporting actor, and Leo will probably get snubbed again because he's Leo |
The Drop: 8/10 |

Initiation Love. 9/10 came out in May 2015. Love story in 1980s of a jap girl and a guy who they met in small town. Guy leaves to Tokyo and relationship falls apart. The promotional poster is interesting, it says the last 5 minutes will blow your mind (at least in the chinese posters). Indeed the ending is like a WTF, wasn't like 6th sense but pretty worthy of a watch, highly recommended by two critics I follow and they didn't disappoint. just watch it without researching so you don't have any expectations. make sure you watch it with subtitles. http://asianwiki.com/images/d/dc/Initiation_Love-p1.jpg |
sisters 3/10 it was awkward watching 40 year olds act so wild lol fell asleep halfway through the movie good thing i streamed it i had high hopes for it |
straight outta Compton 8/10 was too young in the late 80's/early 90's to fully appreciate everything in this flick (ie. 92 LA riot)...still got most references though because of dre's the chronic. Any hip-hop fans will appreciate this (all probably seen it by now). The director's cut was almost 3 hours... them rich guys in the 90's sure loved their white Italian cars: Jordan Belfort's anniversario countach...and Dre's TR |
