ipman3.. meh. tyson was a great marketing tool but wasn't as jam packed as the 2nd one. 7/10

spend $25 at T&T and get $3 parking validated, which helps.

Ip Man 3 - 4/10. snooze fest except for the Tyson fight.
Deadpool - 8.5/10. Theatre was laughing so hard that I missed some of the jokes due to the noise. will need to re-watch it when it comes back to digital download!

Deadpool 8/10 - if you like Ryan Reynolds cracking jokes for 1.5 hours with foul langauge and some gory-ish violence then you'll like it. The self-awareness of the movie made it great. A fun watch for sure.

It helped that we(wife and I) saw it VIP style at the new Cambie theatres. Fucking killer experience. I'll NEVER watch a movie in the theatre any other way from now on. Comfy seats, great service, food was on point, even had a drink and desert after just because.

Ballerrr. Isnt a ticket like $20 and the food is quite pricey? I guess u can redeem a VIP for 1500 scene points but I would rather use it for DBOX.

I know food is subjective but best sashimi? You need to get out more bro.

10/10 troll

Verdasco 03-14-2016 11:02 AM

what are the prices on VIP food? not shown on the menu online :/

jinxcrusader 03-14-2016 11:48 AM

Cineplex VIP food/drinks is about the same price as places like Browns or Cactus Club.
But it'll obviously be worse. It's food made by late teens microwaving stuff or pulling this out of the fryer.

Daddy's Home 7/10

Yes, pretty pricey. $25 per ticket. about $35 for dinner for two. another $28 for drinks and desert plus $4.50 for parking. plus $60 for a babysitter. Yeah, that shit adds up. I don't get out much so it's worth it though. Beside a Star Wars screening before Xmas with my work I haven't been to the theatre in like 3 years.

Luckily there are hardly any good movies being made, or we'd all be broke! EleGiggle

Zootopia
9/10

DragonChi 03-20-2016 08:02 PM

The Big Short

10/10

Defiantly my kind of movie. All star cast. Story of people being sheep and others that took the time to investigate the subprime bonds that turned out to be fraudulent.

DragonChi 03-20-2016 08:03 PM

Double post. :(

Nlkko 03-22-2016 09:09 PM
