Life: 8/10

Some annoying character traits with some of the roles but a good solid movie.

Batman v Superman

6/10 - Life

I like the ending but the characters are too stupid. Astronauts/scientists should be extremely smart people but they made very stupid decisions.

That's exactly what I was referring to about stupid character traits. Fully agree.

Goon 2: Last of the Enforcers

It was okay in terms of comedic value, but it was not as good as the first.

7/10

Kungfu yoga
jackey chan movie, man it just wasn't good no more. CG was just meh and story was too "gov't is the best, treasures belows to the country blah blah blah"

so crazy cars but many were CG-ed. 6/10

Craptastic

Power Rangers 7/10

Enjoyable enough, I liked that they upped the stakes by Rangers admitting they could die if they don't take things seriously.

Power Rangers 8/10

A surprisingly good mix of nostalgia, character development, CG and action, and something that resembles a storyline.

Some of the acting is cringe, but it was also so with the original MMPR. Even the GF who has never seen any power ranger show ever liked it.

The Great Wall: 5.5/10

Decided to go since my first watch was a low quality rip. Still 8/10 given how visually stunning Shinkai's works are, but the plot was a bit thin.

Ghost in the Shell in 3D. 10 out now 10

Risen (2016)

It's the story of the post-crucifixion of Jesus seen through the eyes of a a Roman Tribune. It's a decent Jesus film that isn't preachy or Sorbo-cheesy. The best is watching the Tribune's mind blown when he sees Jesus alive after seeing his dead body.

Yes I'm sure that was shocking to the people who saw it when it happened Kappa

DragonChi 04-11-2017 05:14 PM

The Founder 8/10
McDonald's corporation and a story of persistence.

Lion 7.5/10
Worth a watch. Kinda like slum dog millionaire

Kimi Ga No Na Wa (Your Name) 8/10
Visually epic. Story was lacking, typical Japanese melodrama.

Your Name - 10/10

Cried so hard :QQ:

Logan 8.5/10
Lala Land 9/10

Not that Lala Land should be compared to Logan; they're just different kinds of movies.

Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father

10/10

I never give a film such a high review but this one earns top marks and top respect. The editing could appear as amateurish but the narrative touches every nerve in your body, then simultaneously shocks them all.

This film should have never been made and it makes me hate this fucking country...

There needs to be more awareness around the film's subject matter.
