Kong Skull Island: 6/10

SkinnyPupp 03-11-2017 10:42 PM

Haven't seen Skull Island but I'll give it a 2/10 since I know I'll never watch it, and that's what the score would be anyway

DragonChi 03-12-2017 04:23 PM

Logan 7.5/10

Great action movie, and intro of a new character. Worth watching once.

Spoiler!

Kong: 4/10
Almost fell asleep through the first bit.

Logan: 7/10
Its tough watching some of your favourite characters age. Sir Patrick Stewart was especially tough to watch, but his performance was sublime.

John Wick 2: 7/10
Nowhere near as good as the first.

Arrival: 7/10
This style of sci-fi appears to be in trend for Hollywood. I'm an old school sci fi fan so none of these concepts are new to me.

Hidden Figures 8.5/10

Solid movie, feel-good story.

gilly 03-13-2017 12:08 PM

Sing - 8.5/10 - Almost as good as Zootopia.

Kong - 7.5/10 - It was pretty good actually. Beautiful visuals on the big screen. There are a few stupid one liners but I thought it was a lot better than Godzilla.

iwantaskyline 03-13-2017 01:15 PM

Kong 6.5/10 - Much more entertaining than the last Godzilla but still mediocre.

Get Out

9/10 I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. There hasn't been a thriller like that for a while.

Hondaracer 03-15-2017 07:27 AM

Xmen: apocalypse 6/10

Some cheesy acting and mediocre acting

6o4__boi 03-15-2017 08:27 AM

Logan - 9/10

Gritty conclusion for a gritty character

Well shit I guess no need to see the movie anymore, thanks. I was going to take my son on Friday but instead I think we'll hang out at home and break it to him that there is no Santa. :Troll

Such a shame it didn't even get a Oscar nom. Animation is top notch! FYI there is a 720P version floating around the interwebs...The Japanese title is Kimi no Na Wa.

I heard that the animation is worth waiting for 1080p. To each their own though.

The 720p is a webrip version?

Makoto Shinkai's films always have top notch animation.

5 cm per second came out in 2007 and yet you could fool someone into thinking that only came out recently because of how beautiful and well animated it is.

His attention to detail is godly.

This is a screenshot from a scene of that film. Looks too good and detailed to be from 2007

Kong Skull Island 7/10

Deep movie it is not, but it was a fun ride on the IMAX screen. Also, post credits were interesting in an MCU kinda way ;)

HonestTea 03-16-2017 03:24 AM

Logan 8/10

Enjoyed it a lot!

TBH I watched an even shittier 480P version months ago when it was just released in Japan and I still enjoyed it immensely. Even my gf who doesn't watch a lick of anime loved it.

Yeah I believe its a webrip, has black borders.
