The foreigner 8/10

Huge jackie fan.. so maybe bit bias. Thought it was a good movie overall though. Hes getting a bit old now. You can tell he's cutting back on the fancy stunts but def still has a few signature moves in there lol

Matsuda 11-09-2017 07:57 AM

Atomic Blonde 8/10

Better than I expected, the fight scenes are well choreographed and there's some girl on girl action

carisear 11-09-2017 09:50 AM

Thor: Ragnarok
8/10

Marvel went full comedy with this one. too many trailers too far in advance kinda ruined some moments for me though.

Birth of the Dragon:
2/10

Omg wtf did I just watch.

Wheelman 7.5/10

I liked it.
I wish there were more scenes with the entire car within the frame but overall I thought it was a sweet film.

Vansterdam 11-10-2017 06:28 AM

The Foreigner 5/10

fell asleep a few times + was kinda hard to understand all the political shit that was going on

I too was pleasantly surprised. For a straight to Netflix film is was well done. Pretty simple since there were only a few angles throughout the whole film but overall it was entertaining without be too over done.

6.5 mjolnirs out of 1 infinity gauntlet

Some great action scenes, ruined the movie a little with me watching too many trailers/tv spots.

Ultimately a growing problem I have with Marvel movies (and I have a feeling justice league might have the same problem) is that these movies cut emotional beats down with humor.

I watch movies to experience emotional notes that I don't in my everyday life and thats what makes movies special to me. Moments of loss or hardship etc.

Spoiler!

baby driver 4/10

I don't understand how everyone was giving this such great reviews, ya the car chase scenes were cool and all (not like we have seen them like that before) but I thought the plot sucked and it was really boring.

winson604 11-17-2017 11:12 AM

Justice League 6.5/10

It certainly has its problems but you know what I was decently entertained for the 2 hrs. Some of the jokes were good, Flash was the standout for me he was awesome. 2 post credit scenes, the first one was so comic booky but both were awesome.

roflwaffle604 11-25-2017 10:16 AM

Thor Ragnarok - 8/10

agree with the above posters maybe a bit too much humor but still good

Mr.Money 11-25-2017 12:02 PM

Justice League 8/10

enjoyed way more than the avengers where shit was just happening

Vansterdam 11-25-2017 12:51 PM

Thor Ragnarok 9/10

very enjoyable from start to end

604STIG 11-29-2017 03:36 PM

Thor Ragnarok: 8.5/10
Justice League: 8/10

IMO Justice League has been the best of the DC movies so far.

pastarocket 12-09-2017 09:01 PM

Justice League 7/10.

Decent action scenes. Some funny dialogue. It gave me some moments of entertainment.

The Disaster Artist 9/10

Probably helps if you watch The Room first (which is hilariously terrible)

SkinnyPupp 12-11-2017 06:45 AM

Spiderman Homecoming: 4/10

It was basically "Kid Ironman Starring Spiderman". I hate Ironman, I hate Robert Downey Junior's Tony Stark, and they basically replaced Spiderman's powers with his, and had too much RDJ. Otherwise it was fine. Another superhero movie that does superhero movie stuff.

Verdasco 12-11-2017 09:30 AM

spiderman homecoming is shit compared to the original tobey maguire

it felt too PG 13, even though the old spiderman's were PG 13

radioman 12-11-2017 09:45 AM

Do you guys think that this comic book hero bubble will burst with 1 "terrible" marvel team up movie? Its been 10 years now and eventually the general audience tires of the same thing.

Like the old westerns that dominated in the past whats going to be the next genre to rise?

Acura604 12-11-2017 10:42 AM

Dunkirk.

10/10

beautifully shot, beautifully orchestrated.... and SPITFIRES FTW!

chin3se604 12-11-2017 11:59 AM

The Disaster Artist 8.5/10

Never watched the original except for the funny clips. This movie was great and fun.

Vansterdam 12-11-2017 12:18 PM

justice league 7.5/10

Spiderman homecoming 6/10

Acura604 12-11-2017 02:40 PM

Mother 7/10

... WTF ... (hint: think religion/bible)

As soon as China gets bored of movies, they will stop. It HAS to be a bubble. I also don't like how it affected the Star Wars movies.

BTW the next Star Trek movie will be made by Quentin Tarantino, and I basically orgasmed when I heard that Kreygasm

So maybe we're already moving away from the Chinese Theme Park Ride movies for major franchises (at least this one)

whitev70r 12-11-2017 06:50 PM

Who's got tix for The Last Jedi? Thu evening ... 1st local showing?

SkinnyPupp 12-11-2017 07:19 PM
