Here's another off topic post for ya, Jay.

I was watching the Pittsburgh vs Montreal game and heard the play by play guy. Man, was he boring. It was like listening to an American broadcast. Then, the Calgary game came on and Jim Hughson was calling the game. What a fucking difference. We've been so lucky over here with the calibre of play by play and colour commentators calling 'Nucks games.

BTW, I rarely watch non-Canucks games on the tube, so maybe this was one of those "rookie fills in for the usual guy" situations.

TBH, I think the problem is not so much the passing, but that at most times, they take a full on minute just trying to gain entry into the zone and set up.
