None of these Wellwood-fanbois seem to realize that Wellwood's contribution is very limited. He scores, and thats it. Pretty much the definition of a one-dimensional player. If he's not scoring, he's of no use to the team. There isn't room for more than one or two guys in your top six who can only score, and right now Demitra is that guy. At least he has speed and can draw penalties.

I thought the NHL had a rule where if there's a ifght and the helmet comes off, the Refs has to stop the fight? or is that not in effect yet? *just saw the davison/carcillo* fight

That is not a rule.

Breaking up the fight is done at the discretion of the refs. They do not intervene when they are throwing punches. Only when they tie themselves up and are out of energy etc.

thats only the ohl that came out with that rule in the past week. if you take of your/other guys helmet your out for the rest of that game 1 one game suspension

I personally like that rule. and i know i heard them saying that if a helmet during the fight, the ref steps in no matter what. that would be a nice addition to the nhl but htat's only me.
