yesssssss fuck the blackhawks

Alphamale 02-07-2009 07:41 PM

From my understanding...since we're in a 3-0 lead, it's about time we give it up soon. Then end up losing 5-4.

Kesler IS the captain, IMHO. Reminds me a lot of Trevor. Sorry, but Luongo should never have been made the captain. Tough to be a captain from the net.

CRX SiR 02-07-2009 08:33 PM

Good Job Canucks. Im so glad to see the Canucks win a couple and Flames lose a few. Makes my work days so much easier cause there is a retarded Flames fan there that drives me nuts. Go Canucks Go

MG1 02-07-2009 08:38 PM

What ever happened to the jerks who called for AV's head? The losing streak was just that, a string of games that didn't go their way. Calgary's going through one right now. I hope the Canucks can keep it up and stay healthy past into the playoffs. Luongo's still not there, but the offence is going pretty good now. Demitra seemed to be counter productive. Burrows was a bit quiet, but geez, he's out there by himself at times.

You're such a band wagoner. He has been playing great as of late, but where has he been prior to this hot streak?

On a side note, Sundin 8 points in 11 games. Getting close to PPG. :D

Hahaha......... me a bandwagoner? Buddy, I've been following the Canucks since they were in the WHL. Never missed watching or listening a single game in all those years. You should come by and see the shrine I have set up at work. No, not a bandwagoner by a long shot. They could lose every fucking game in the season and I'd be there for them. Sure, I complain and feel like giving up, but never do in the end. BTW, I drive the fucking bandwagon.

Hot streak? Kesler is one of those guys who shows up for each game. It's not always about scoring. Blocking shots, giving and taking hits, never giving up on plays. The time the fans were on his ass, was the time he played through an injury. He then missed a major part of one season because of the injury. The following year, he showed everybody why Bobby Clarke (I think that's who it was) offered so much for him.

Edit: sorry if I got some of the info mixed up. That's a lot of years watching the home town team. Memory gets vague due to old age, too. LOL.

trancehead 02-07-2009 09:19 PM

^89blkcivic is right. the C will probably end up on kesler if luongo were to ever leave.

Gotta love it when the Flames lose. Almost as good as watching the Canucks win. Gawd, I hate that Keenan. He has the kind of face that begs for a beating.

That wasn't a Canuck thing, but it seemed more like a Vigneault thing. When we were up 6 - 0, AV pulled back a little. Gave the other guys a chance to play. Thats why guys like Ohlund & Mitchell were afforded more time on the PP over the usual Salo/Edler tandem.

We were up 6 - nil. Pulling back was the right call. It was nice to see AV generous to his team for once and not on their asses.

doubt it.

but yea great game for Kes and a big win tonight the hawks coming back really shouldnt be too concerning

as for "where's the AV bashers?"

well why would we bash if they are winning? i guarantee if they had lost these past 2 games he might have been canned tonight

He's got the voice, no doubt about that.

LOL right when I heard Raymond was on the PP, I knew it was gonna be bad news. It's a shame what's happening to him though... I think the Canucks really fucked up his development.

You know why they're starting to play well? Because he's allowed guys to just play this thing out. He's afforded these guys more concrete lines and cut the line juggling to a minimal. Good call finally, IMO.

But I guarantee you, lose a handful of games and AV will be back to blowing up his current successful lines right now instead of allowing these lines to play out of their funk. That's just the way he is.

Yes he was absolutely terrific in the first half of the season when he was on pace for about 13 goals. He was also terrific when the Canucks PK was going at about %60 kill rate. He's played great these last few games but lets not get carried away with giving him the C, mmk?
