Eight points is a lot to make up with so few games left. Calgary will have to lose quite a few games. How many do we have left with them as our opponents? That's about the only way you can make up ground. Unless, of course, they turn out to be 3 pointers like last time.

There's still about 2 months of season left. Too much time to think about the title. Let's focus on keeping in playoff position.

I'm looking at it 3 games at a time. If they can keep winning at least 2/3 (like before Luongo got hurt) they'll be in a good spot come April and the rest will take care of itself.

I'd say we're offensively on par.
Their goaltending is spotty, but so has been Luongo
Our may edge may have to come from the D. We have 4 scoring D-men in Salo, Edler, Bieksa & Ohlund.

All I am hoping for is an interesting game. Nail biting, hard hitting, controversial, whatever....... good entertainment. It's awesome when Mitchell did that shit with the stick. I want my team, the Canucks, to be noticed and feared around the NHL. OK, maybe not feared, but respected as one of the premier teams in the NHL. Dream on, eh? The Canucks are probably a nobody team when we go to eastern rinks. Hard to tell what others around the NHL think of us. We can only see things from our POV.

I think the Eastern doesn't get much coverage about Western hockey. At least that's what I think... That's why they think they are the best, until they realize Western Conference is a lot tougher. lol
