I dont think edmonton will get sloppy they have a lot of great young players that are playing for jobs next year and the classic rival "battle of Alberta" I think the Oil will give CGY a run for their money hopefully EDM can pull off a W in at least on of the two games and we can run the board for the remaining two games

i hope lu carries today's play to the playoff..

No. Needed SOB for a game like Calgary just in case of scraps & fights.

Rypien & Hordi won't always be on the ice all the time in case shit goes down.

Heheheh!

Well, buddy of mine works for the company that maintains all those plasma displays at YVR (among other places)... when they replaced a couple from the WestJet counter that were burned in, he got to keep them. No remotes, and the front-panel controls were locked out... so he said he'd give me one to see if I could unlock it, and if I did and told him how to do it, I could keep it :)

So it's a little burned in, and the WestJet logo shows particularly clearly on pure white displays... but it was free :)

And today I did a little computer work on the side for the owner of a pub we service, and in exchange he gave me an unused Shaw HD terminal he had since the pub went to all-satellite :)

canucks tickets have always been a jack, no matter how good or bad we do, there will always be people paying to watch games. Great win for the canucks last night. Lets finish strong and not choke to la or colorado

bossxx 04-08-2009 08:07 AM

What a game last night.. the atmosphere in the building was incredible. It felt like a playoff game.

Armind 04-08-2009 09:59 AM

Till this very day, I still haven't gone to a hockey game yet in my life! I wanna go so bad this year, but I think it's best to wait till my dad's birthday and hopefully he takes time off from work so we could go watch the game! Afterall, he IS the one that made me a Canucks fan. :D

GO CANUCKS GO!

Soundy 04-08-2009 10:15 AM

^Maybe you should buy tickets and take your dad to a game!

Armind 04-08-2009 10:20 AM

^That's what i'm planning to do! But he doesn't celebrate his birthday at all, so I KNOW this will be the best gift ever for him hahaha!

murd0c 04-08-2009 10:22 AM

hotjoint 04-08-2009 11:47 AM

Soundy 04-08-2009 11:53 AM

If he bails, you can take me, I'm probably old enough to be your dad :)

orange7 04-08-2009 02:28 PM

and if you bail out after giving a ticket to soundy, you can give me the other ticket!

fobulaus 04-08-2009 02:41 PM

since this thread has been a bit dull as of late...

IF PLAYOFFS STARTED TODAY:

Western Conference
(1) San Jose vs. (8) St. Louis
(2) Detroit vs. (7) Anaheim
(3) Calgary vs. (6) Columbus
(4) Chicago vs. (5) Vancouver

My predictions of winning teams would be: St. Louis, Detroit, Columbus and Vancouver...

GO NUCKS GO!!

You didn't go to many games during and just after the messier era did you? People couldn't give Canucks tickets away it was like trying to give away your lions tickets nobody wanted them. It was actually a good time to be a fan because getting tickets was ridiculously easy, you could go to any game you wanted to.

Even getting 4 playoff tickets together from ticketmasater once they turned the corner and started squeaking into the playoffs wasn't that hard.

love the name......... posts have bailed him out a lot. Also, lousy shooting by the opposition - open net misses and fanned shots.

Ya gotta be good to be lucky, though.

rsx 04-08-2009 06:46 PM

hey guys, i'm looking for a shootout goal by a non-nhl'er. I think it was during an allstar game for AHL or some minor league. He slid across the ice on his belly hand passed the puck to his stick and swept it in. It was also done by Pat Kane during 2009 skill comp.

7seven 04-08-2009 06:52 PM

Slick shootout goal
