Open Positions: Customer Service and Technical Service Representatives
What to bring: Your resumé
What to expect: Be prepared to have an on-site interview with one of our Customer Care Supervisors

IMPORTANT: These positions are PART-TIME and only guarantee 20 hours per week. You MUST be available to work any time between 7 AM and 11:30 PM – 7 Days a Week.


Location: Downtown
Compensation: $15-$17 / hour + commission
This is a part-time job.

thx ~ went there and came back ~ got thru my 1st and 2nd interview ~ just have to do crim and reference check ~

that craiglist link earlier said content have been deleted by the user lol. i guess they reposted it ~ but holy crap.. there were over 200 ppl there... 2-4pm? lol i got there at 2.. finish my 2nd interview at 4:30.. the lineup outside was still huge.. and there's probably still another 100 ppl upstair waiting to be interviewed

god i was there till 7, had my 2nd interview not even 5 minutes after the first one. they're not looking to hire very many people in comparison to how many people showed up

ya from what i heard.. they didn't expect that many ppl to find out about it.. on the bright side at least they stayed and interview ppl until the line was gone and not left at 4

the first interview is more bout how you handle customers and what's ur attitude personality like ~ the second one is a little more technical ~ but no testing or anything

first time posting...but long time lurker on the revscene boards...

been following this forum since i got my first interview at shaw just to see how people liked working for the company as a TSR......but i couldnt post cause my account wasnt activated yet...which took forever lol

anyway....i went through the first 1 on 1 interview then the dual interview and both went well.

I got the official call after the crim check/refs today and officially got hired. I start training on Aug 9.

anyone else?

would be cool to know if anyone else here works for SHAW

did u go to the open house on saturday?
there was no last interview? just 2?
i heard there may be a panel interview (3rd interview) but if you didnt get one then i am wrong.


i got a call from them on tuesday to supply them with another piece of id so im waiting now on a callback.

Shaw's policy for all new hires is that they start them as Part time...but the HR person told me usually PT hires get FT hours....but thats just their policy. Guaranteed 20 hours a week.

No i didnt go to the open house, i just applied online like a month ago and went through the 2 interviews and got called.

the second interview they said, if you get a call then you get hired...if you got an email then thats not good news

i only did 2 interview at the open house and i got officially hired today for tsr bilingual department i think. anyone know what's parking like at shaw tower? rates etc?

anyone have suggestion for parking that's close to shaw tower around 13-15bux? how much are the hotels around there? haven't parked there for ages =\ $21 parking at shaw tower is a bit steep

if it's like a day shift i'll probably skytrain~ but nite shift i'll probably drive ~ i don't wanna take a 1.5hr ride home after work @ 11pm

first day is just a bunch of lectures lectures and more lectures ~ i dunno.. the guy mentioned 5th floor is actually a day care not the gym and we have access to the gym.. pretty sure that's what he said

full time training rite now is 40hrs a week and it's minimum 3 weeks.. but i think it's gonna be a little longer rite now coz it's so busy they are changing up the training schedule~ we are helping out the something billing department starting next week ~ there's several classes there's the morning 8:30-5 and the evening 3:30-11 classes i like evening :P coz they let us out early and still pay u the full shift
