nope u don't get a choice whether you are in the morning or afternoon class.. it's just whatever they happen to have open.. rite now morning classes are all CSRs and evenings are all TSRs.. i'm not complaining coz i get paid full 8 hrs while only actually working 6.5hrs + getting shift premiums for the hrs in the evening lol.. did you go the 1st/2nd interview? as long as u don't bomb ur 2nd interview.. chances are they'll prolly give you a call.. i know they are having a new class in aug 30th.. but where da fuk are they gonna fit them all -_- we are being thrown into the fire already =\ 1 week training 3 weeks calls back to another 2-3 weeks training -_-

hi, just got the call to start on aug 30th . Kind of excited!! Not trying to jump ahead of myself (i have asked this question b4 but it was never ansered lol) but what are the chances of moving up within shaw into other departments such as accounting or management and how long would it take. dont get me wrong, this is a great opportunity but i dont wana make working in a call centre a permanent career move. thx

there's an internal job posting site and ppl do move around if the opportunity arises, for some ppl it's only a stepping stone. csr or tsr?

u can bring ur own lunch if u want or there's a food court nearby. there's a lounge with microwave fridge etc. but there's not really a cafe here unless you count starbucks. as for anything to bring? not really, they give u notepads and pens so just bring whatever you need to carry ur stuff.. a bag?

So I just got called in for an interview, but unlike the rest of you who had their interviews downtown, I have mine in Burnaby under a company named "Integranuity." What's up with that? Sketch or no?

isn't that a marketing company? they said they are interviewing you for shaw? i don't think that company is a sketch. but at the same time i thought shaw does their own interview. i guess you can do some research about it
