I don't see how the trade benefited Celtics. Last season if Thomas wasn't injured during post season, they would have potentially made it very deep into the playoffs, possibly NBA Finals. Celtics stood no chance against the Cavs due to his injuries.

Celtics GM Danny Ainge is crazy to make this kind of trade with the Cavs.
