I really don't want Warriors to win. Taking superteams to a ridiculous level and taking huge paycuts to fit everyone in is stupid. It's different if players are taking "hometown discounts" or if loyal to the city, but to take a paycut simply to stack up and win ala KD is borderline cheating.

Next year, all the free agents should sign 1-year 1 million contracts on the same team.
Lebron, Paul George, Chris Paul and Cousins should sign together in Houston with Harden, San Antonio with Kawhi or Davis in New Orleans lol ...

Go Rockets!

Steve Kerr is getting so cocky in all his interviews these days

F--K~ Go Houston !

NBA finals def needs more variety, hoping to see houston vs boston

pastarocket 05-25-2018 02:30 PM

It was funny to see CP3 troll Steph Curry with that shimmy dance after he scored that 3 pointer on him. :lawl:

whitev70r 05-25-2018 03:40 PM

CP3 needs some work on his dance moves, he will never win DWTS like that!

Then he shimmies himself to a pulled hamstring later on in the game and he's out for game 6. :okay:

Euro7r 05-25-2018 07:32 PM

Game 7 Sunday. Gonna be good game Cavs/Celt

Euro7r 05-26-2018 07:26 PM

2 x Game 7's.

Rockets outscored in 2nd half tonight 64 - 25. Harden ball hog as usual, 9 turnovers. Took some really terrible shots that he could have at least passed up to his team mates.

pastarocket 05-26-2018 08:00 PM

You gotta give credit to the champs for their strong play in the second half of game 6. GSW pushed the pace of the game and was locked in on defence.

Klay Thompson and chef Curry made it rain with 3 pointers. Klay was the player who helped his team get out of a big deficit.

Warriors made sure that Eric Gordon was not going to make open look 3 pointers in this game.

ScizzMoney 05-26-2018 09:02 PM

GSW probably run away with the Bryant Reeves cup or whatever their championship is called.

Euro7r 05-27-2018 07:01 PM

Beyond choked how Lechoke won tonight and they did it without Love. Smart and Rozier didnt' do shit tonight. Good run for a young Celtics team. Now if Irving and Haywood were playing, Lechoke would have been done.

Yup, I'm a Lechoke hater =P

pastarocket 05-27-2018 07:14 PM

The Official NBA thread

Celtics missed too many shot attempts. Rozier was shooting bricks from the 3 point arc all night.
:lawl:

Astounding game by LeBron. 35 pts, 15 assists, and 9 rebounds.

He made buckets and made plays in game 7.

Respect for the best player in the NBA now. He played all 48 minutes! :notbad:

LBJ’s block on Rozier’s dunk attempt was sick!

LeBron is a phenomenal player. No doubt about it.

Celtics couldn't get it done because both Rozier and Jaylen Clown took turn laying bricks all night. Jaylen's stat looks a little better because he got a 3 off in garbage time.

Seriously when you bricks a tons in a row, put the ball on the floor and attack the basket. Instead they dribbled out to 3 points line and throw up bricks after bricks. Jayson Tatum playing out of his mind couldn't even carry them.

Hat tip to LeBron tho. What a player!

whitev70r 05-27-2018 09:06 PM

Hats off to the King, I seriously thought Celtics would win this. This has got to be the sh*ttiest team that Lebron has ever played on but he still gets it done! Props.

Unfortunately, looking like an old story ... Cavs vs. GSW. I don't think Houston has what it takes to win game 7 especially with CP3 out.

tristan thompson probably wont play for canada

pastarocket 05-28-2018 07:28 PM

Aww yeah, Golden State plays the Cavs again in the Finals.

The fourth straight time that these teams play for a championship.

Game 1 is on Thursday at 6pm.

Will LeBron win another title for The Land or lose to the champs again? :considered:

Euro7r 05-28-2018 07:31 PM

Rockets live and die by the 3pt ball. Missed 27 straight which killed their season, too much dependence. Harden didn't play like MVP tonight, non-existence in the 2nd half.

Warriors all the way :fuckyea:.

HonestTea 05-28-2018 07:39 PM

GSW! GSW!

pastarocket 05-28-2018 07:42 PM

Go Warriors! Strength in Numbers! :victory:

Ding 05-28-2018 07:52 PM

Fuck Gsw

whitev70r 05-28-2018 08:16 PM

Oh joy ... Cavs vs. GSW ... again.

GSW in 4 or 5 ... no way Cavs has the fire power to match GSW unless LeBron scores 75 pts every game.

HonestTea 05-28-2018 08:38 PM

GSW in 4

roflwaffle604 05-28-2018 08:52 PM

GSW in 5

Don't need no Tristan Thompson when you got 2013 #1 overall pick Anthony Bennett! KappaKappa

Nlkko 05-28-2018 08:59 PM

D'Antoni has a bunch of career 35% 3PT shooters laying bricks the 2nd half. not to mention bad shot selection shooting contested 3s. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are 40, 42% shooter. Durant is almost 39%. This is bad coaching, at some point, you just gotta tell people to put the ball on the floor and go to the basket and see the ball in the basket to gain confidence. Gordon is the only guy who did that. Outplayed, and outcoached.

Warriors are healthier and better. It will go 7 games though. 6 at least. You can't sweep Lebron at this point. Dude is like Kobe/ Michael in their prime, can win a game by themselves through sheer will.

Obsideon 05-29-2018 12:19 PM

It was obvious whoever won the West is winning it all. Too bad CP3 got injured, I believe his leadership and calming presence would have slowed down the ball instead of chucking up 27 bricks in a row. Ariza 0/12, Green 1/7. SMH
As if they weren't stacked enough, Warriors catch all the breaks. Last year Zaza injures Kawhi, this year no CP3, now no Kevin Love.
Lebron dragged his crew of bums all the way to the finals. Love is still out. Took 7 games to beat Oladipo and another 7 games to beat the Celtics that didn't have their 2 best players. Now they have to face 4 all-stars. Good luck.

Hats off to Brad Stevens who I think is the best coach in the L behind legendary Poppovich. Tyronne Lue is just a mascot, without Lebron they would be worse than the Nets. Heck I can coach the Cavs "Time out! ... here's the plan; give it to James."

I call Warriors in 5 cuz Lebron will takeover 1 game at home.
