This is why I go to Celebs if I feel like clubbing. No douchebags, cheap cover (well for me anyway), decent priced drinks and good music. Plus the go-go dancers are hot. Oh and a great atmosphere. Too bad most of Vancouver is homophobic. | I've been there a few times with this redhead I'm seeing, (she's Bi). Its pretty good there, but they love to pack the place. Something about feeling the dance floor move isn't very promising, lol. Quote:

I think as you grow older, the less appealing clubbing appears to you. Plus having to deal with the younger gangster wannabes there just makes it worse. | Problem is, the moment a club changes names, everyone flocks there. There's clubs/lounges that are geared toward the more mature crowd and less teeny-boppers that are good with some douches but very little or no wangsters in sight. Quote:

A contributing factor for Vancouver club scene...not being racist...asians tend to stand at the back of the club mean muggin people....their pick up line requires money to buy the girl and all her friends drinks...ruins it for other guys because girls is Van expects a drink before you can even talk to them. | I agree, I don't buy drinks to get some chicks attention.
My buddy and I were in Portland for a night and went clubbing, we ended up picking up 2 groups of chicks without buying any alcohol. 1 group was 3 nammers and the other were 2 white chicks (Hooter girls to boot as well)
Sure they were american girls, but lets face it, with the snobby ass girls here, we'd be hard press to pick up 5 girls in 1 wknd of clubbing let alone 1 night. |
