Burrows lols... |
BTW, the canucks just called up Michael Grabner!! |
Its too bad Hordi can't stand up like that in fights anymore. |

With the media and everything in T.O. if Kessel doesn't come out an instant stud, the media and everyone in T.O. will bash him and ruin his confidence and his game. Hell, they may even come up with chants about how much he sucks/chokes when he goes on the ice or gets the puck. Kessel is going to be another Blake for T.O., they do not have what is necessary for Kessel to be great. He may be decent but he will not even be a shadow of his former self. |

Last-last chance for grabner? :/ |

I seriously don't know why you guys are making a comparison of Kessel to Blake.... I believe Blake has been steady (55-65pts a season) through out his career.. It's not like he had 100pts with the Isles before then went down to 50-60 in Toronto...Kessel will help the Laffs scoring wise.. he ain't going to change the team by himself.. they need a Goalie.....he can score a hat trick everytime but if the goalie lets in 4 goals a game or wateer then they will be 0-82.... NOT that there's anything wrong with that lol./ Imagine the Sedins with Kessel.....200pts! |
I'd prefer burrows holmes |

I just don't get what you guys are saying when you mention that he will jsut be another Jason Blake lol.. Blake avg'd about 60 pts and still doing the same with the Laffs.. is that a failure? What about Kessel.. Let's sayyyy he scores 60 pts etc.. is that considered a fail? I know that he might not get 100 pts with Grabovski centreing but there's still trades and the season is young.... oh well.. enough bout the leafs.. we've talked about that team for a page now |

2002–03 New York Islanders NHL 81 25 30 55 2003–04 New York Islanders NHL 75 22 25 47 2004–05 HC Lugano NLA 7 2 2 4 4 – – – – – 2005–06 New York Islanders NHL 76 28 29 57 2006–07 New York Islanders NHL 82 40 29 69 2007–08 Toronto Maple Leafs NHL 82 15 37 52 2008–09 Toronto Maple Leafs NHL 78 25 38 63 The first time he got over 60 points in a season was his last year with the Islanders, but the number that stands out most is that he somehow got 40 goals that year, which is by far the most he's ever had, considering he's never even had another 30 goal season. He hasn't done that poorly in Toronto... just not to the level of his last year with the Islanders. |
I'm sure Kessel's first year in TO will not be fantastic. TO should be happy if he nets 20+ goals. Defintiely have to wait until a bonafide center arrives in TO whether that be through a trade or Kadri maybe? Who knows. If I was going to pick I take Burrows right now, but down the road I'm not sure. But I think we can all agree the trade was not worth it. Now Bostons got two high 1st round picks, cause we all know the Leafs are not going to make the playoffs. |
Can we change the subject lol haha if the season ended yesterday this would be so funny http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3.../standings.jpg |
Grabner called up and canucks putting him on 1st line thats crazy heard hes owning in the moose |
i just dont agree on throwing picks away for phil kessel yes SPECULATION is that 2010 draft is gonna suck, but theres always the diamond in the rough with these things its lookin even better for boston as the leafs will tank soo hard, that the 1st round pick could easily become 1st overall im a pretty big phil kessel fan yes, blake is no savard, but blake and garbovski will improve once kessel steps back into action, and that to the leafs is their single biggest win this year. i believe blake and garbovski is gonna stick around as their contracts go till 2011? correct me if im wrong |

Sedin, Burrows and Grabner? or Sedin, Bernier and Grabner? |

that doesnt look too bad on paper bernier can slot back in with wellwood and glass |

Grabner, Sedin, Burrows Kesler, Samulsson, Raymond Bernier, Wellwood, Johnson Rypien, Hordichuck, Glass And on D: Mitchel, Bieska Ernhoff, SOB Rome, Edler |
grabner will fail on the top line they play him on the top line because of the type of player he is, he's pretty much pure offensive, so he has no spot other than the top line really on the team, the role he would play on other lines would not be effective whatsoever, so they are kinda forced to play him on the first i dunno.. especially against Calgary i have some severe doubts |
today for Sports Action I decided to take Barry Macdonalds and Scotty Rentols pics I took The Rangers, Pens and the Stars so far it's looking good. Only put down $5 and I win a massive $25.50 |

"massive $25" lol too bad you only have 6 mins left for pittsburgh to score or you get a Tie |
