its a big risk, considering hes gonna see pronger 6times this year....

Seeing Pronger 6 times a year isn't a factor for anything. He saw Pronger in the West and none of his injuries were a result of Pronger himself.

With that said, and without knowing how late you really got him and what type of pool your in Id say keep him. Typically all late pool picks are those 50 point type of guys anyways. Sure Gabs probably won't play 82 games but it would not be a stretch for him to play 50-60 and get you 50-60 points so really what's the diff.

Judging from past few seasons, he's more than a point/game player, so good chance he'll get even more points. lol

I'd trade him away. But nobody will likely take him unless you are trying to take something worth considerably less in value. He's simply too risky in hockey pools.

I traded Gabby away today for Thomas Vanek. I don't consider Vanek to be "considerably less in value" tho. He did score 40 goals last year in 73 games and 43 2 seasons ago.

Haha thanx! We have a clause in our trade that it's nulled if Vanek isn't back by next Wednesday but he seems to be ok. So I'm not worried.

Pyatt was actually playing on the 1st line tonight with Doan and Lang. I wouldn't be surprised if Pyatt likes playing in Phoenix, Phoenix/Glendale area is a very nice place to live, good night life and lots of privacy as a hockey player in Phoenix.

From having spoken to NHL players and I also remember a survey on ESPN a couple years ago of players, playing on a winning team actually ranks behind, living location, money and family considerations for where they would like to play. Nightlife/entertainment options was actually right behind a winning team.
