Um, the Trashers are not a bad team.

On the topic of Sedins points, here's the stats for the most points in the NHL;

BOOOOOOOOOOOOO, you didn't throw your hat on the ice when Sedin got his hat trick.

On a side note, who would ever imagined before this season started that we would see the Wings in 11th spot.

LsquareD 12-10-2009 10:53 PM

Rypien so awesome

yeah... I thought Detroit has always been near the top in the league... for like... the past two decades?? seems like it anyway...

InvisibleSoul 12-10-2009 11:00 PM

Damn refs... should have let Rypien pound on him a little longer... come on... it's a little guy giving it to a big guy... let him get a few more shot in for good measure.

With the injuries this year and some key players they lost in Free Agency you kind of have to cut them some slack. Losing Clearly is definitely another blow though.

Ronin 12-11-2009 12:46 AM

Rypien is awesome.

Tim Budong 12-11-2009 01:17 AM

ATL is 6th in the east
a top line consisting of Kovalchuk, Antropov and Afinoganov

thats some fire power sir
and a very young D core to boot, who is improving by the game this year

Harvey Specter 12-11-2009 01:41 AM

Yup, the Trashers have a pretty good team and I bet we'll see them near the top in the coming years which will do some serious damage in the playoffs.

I also heard on the radio after the game that Johan Hedberg was chatting it up with some of the Canucks after the game and how he was a well liked and easy going guy during his time here. And it was also mentioned that Johan was the best backup goalie the Canucks ever had and that he would be the prefect backup for Lu as Johan would be more than happy to play only 15 games per season, what do you guys think?

Here's his record as a Canuck;

2003-2004:
Games Played: 21
Games Started: 17
W: 8
L: 6
T: 2
GAA: 2.51
SV%: .900
Shutouts: 3

looks good.. good to be a starter for much less $$

Why do Canuck TV games have two colour commentators now? There's John Garett and now another guy along with him. Between them and John Shorthouse trying to get a word in it gets cluttered.

The other guy would be Ray Ferraro and I agree, I don't really see a point of having him there. I think he should stick to doing TSN games.

I would love for Johan to come back next year as backup. From what I hear, he is one of the best guys to have in the locker room and very well liked by everyone. Atlanta brought him back this season because of how important he is in their locker room, if Lehtonen was healthy, they probably would've kept Pavelec in the minors in order to keep Hedberg up with the team.
