I would trade Kesler + something like Schneider for Kovalchuk... and I have to say that I was always surprised Kesler went public with this decree for hometown discounts, because I know someone who used to do work at his house for him, and they told me he was always walking around talking about how he couldn't wait until his contract was up so he could get $$$rich$$$...

According to Team1040, Atlanta wants a 1st round, top 6 forward and a top D... It'll be something like Kesler, Bieksa and 1st round pick... Besides Atlanta don't need a goaltender..

I'm guessing if signed long term, Kovys going to ask for 10+ million a year... I think this will cause too much cap issues
