Good on the Canucks to decline interviews with CBC. As for the Cormier suspension, his team has played 50 games so far, so he's gone for 32 games and playoffs. His team currently sits 7th overall. I don't think this suspension will change anything in terms of hits to the head and players overall mindset on the subject. With that being said, I don't know if a longer suspension would do that either. This kid will know not to stick an elbow out at someone's head when he gets one in the temple sometime down the road. A lot of players in the NHL shook their head at what he did.

sweet, i applaud the canucks as an organization for standing up for burrows. i can't even stand seeing ron maclean's face anymore let alone hear him talk about anything anymore. he's an asshat and will forever look like one to me (and i'm sure many other people).

Can't wait for the game tonight, my 2 favorite teams playing each other! I'll say Sabres 4-3 in a shootout then. Going to be a good night!

You couldn't have anyways. It was another signing set up by Game Day Auctions, the guys who do the auctions at Canuck games. Similar to the Ovechkin signing you had to buy an item from them in order to get it autographed. Prices were a bit cheaper ($59 vs $99 for an 8x10) but I still wouldn't pay that much for an autograph.

Kesler does enough free public signings and he's usually a pretty good signer in general that you don't need to pay to get it.

i can get stuff signed through some ppl my dad knows anyways directly from the Canucks, but i woulda been willing to pay $200 to get a signed Kes jersey, quicker that way lol
